"Round Lotus Leaf" is the second volume of the first grade of People's Education Press 14 lesson. It describes the story between a round green lotus leaf and a group of lovely animals in childlike language. This is a cool summer poem, a prose poem with beautiful language and vivid image. Glittering water droplets, small dragonflies flapping their transparent wings, small frogs singing loudly and small fish swimming around in the water can arouse the interest of first-grade children and stimulate their enthusiasm for learning. Chinese curriculum standards require students to "expand their imagination, gain initial emotional experience and feel the beauty of language" when reading children's songs, nursery rhymes and simple ancient poems. Therefore, teachers should not only implement basic vocabulary in teaching, but also attach importance to reading teaching and language training. Below I will combine the teaching clips of Yuan Yuan with Lotus Leaf taught by Theway, an experimental primary school in Wenzhou, and mainly talk about how she grasped the two contents of literacy and reading aloud, and how to implement the low-level literacy teaching and reading aloud teaching solidly and effectively.
Second, the case description
Teaching part 1:
Stick a picture of lotus leaf on the blackboard before class.
Teacher: (greeting the students next to the lotus leaf painting near the blackboard) Hi, do you know my name?
Health: Lotus leaf (lotus leaf on the blackboard)
Teacher: Who wants to call me by my name in a friendly way?
(Students shout "Lotus Leaf" in unison)
Teacher: It's beautiful. Do you have a good way to remember Lech?
(Holding a new card: Holland)
Health: What to add to the cursive prefix.
Teacher: I really use my brain. I know the lotus leaf is-
Health: plants
Teacher: You know so much! Then I will reward you to see some pictures! What do you think of this lotus leaf?
Health: Lotus leaves are round.
Teacher: Look at the shape of the lotus leaf. It's beautiful.
Health: Lotus leaf is green.
Teacher: Green oil is the color of lotus leaf, which will be a beautiful landscape in the sun!
Teacher: What a beautiful lotus leaf! Someone wrote the characteristics of lotus leaf in one sentence. (Show me the first paragraph of the text) I close my eyes. Who can read aloud to me this charming lotus leaf?
(Practice reading aloud, read by name-evaluation-read by name-all at once, and evaluate in front of the teacher's camera: I seem to see a lotus leaf in Zhang Yuanyuan, because you read the circle too much. Great! The color of this lotus leaf is really bright! Green is getting worse. It's good to read! What a beautiful scenery! Let's read it together! )
Teaching part 2:
Read the text and find out who Lotus Leaf's friend is.
Teacher: Who discovered these friends?
(Posting pictures while chatting)
Teacher: The teacher invited them all to the big screen. Who will affectionately call these friends by their names?
(Read the names of four friends. Emphasize the retronasal sound of dragonflies; If pronounced correctly, this little fish is very lively and lovely.
Teacher: A baby with a new word hidden in it. Read the word "Zhu" correctly. Is there any clever way to remember the word "Zhu"? Can you find a friend for Zhu? (Health: Jewelry, pearls) Did you find it? These things just mentioned are small, round and expensive! It turns out that jade, as the character of ancient emperors, has something to do with jewelry and jade. What lovely little drops of water! Let's call these friends by their names again! (Read all four friends. )
(Four children read in sections. Think about what these little friends think of lotus leaves. )
Exchange presentations:
(1) Cradle: (Oh! Small drops of water use the lotus leaf as a cradle. Who should the cradle be next to? (Droplet) Because Droplet said (introduction): "Lotus leaf is my cradle."
(2) In addition to the cradle, lotus leaves have also become asphalt roads (prompting nasal sounds and driving a small train to consolidate pronunciation)
(3) Where should the "singing platform" be posted? (Little Frog) Because the little frog said (introduction): "Lotus leaf is my stage."
(4) What about parasols? (Fish) Because Fish said (introduction): "Lotus leaf is my umbrella."
Teacher: Come, let's look at the blackboard. I'm talking about the first half. Can you pick up the bottom part?
Teacher: Lotus leaf is the cradle of water droplets.
(Lotus leaf is _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _. Sentence practice oral English)
Teaching part 3:
Choose your favorite article and read it to your deskmate. Think about why the same lotus leaf will become something different in the eyes of these friends. What are they doing up there? )
Tell your life, read a passage you like, and students choose a small water drop. Showcase: Xiao Shuizhu said, "Lotus leaf is my cradle." Small drops of water are lying on the lotus leaf, blinking their sparkling eyes. )
Teacher: Phyllostachys bambusa regards the lotus leaf as its cradle. These two words are our new words today. Is there any clever way to remember them? (student exchange)
Teacher: In the past, the cradle was made of bamboo, so the top of the basket was made of bamboo. Push it gently with your hand, and the cradle will shake slowly, so the shaking is next to your hand.
(showing pictures of the cradle)
Teacher: Look, this is the cradle. Have you ever been lying in a cradle? What is it like? (Student communication: very comfortable and leisurely)
Teacher: There is no cradle in the classroom now. The children are all small drops of water now. The chair is your cradle. Lean back, listen to music and read it. How do you feel, Water Drop?
Students exchange their feelings, and then read by themselves with this feeling. The teacher evaluates with a camera.
Teacher: This little drop of water is lying on the big round lotus leaf, turning around, very happy. Look! It also-(the teacher points to the big screen) introduces "blinking eyes". What do you think of this little water drop?
(Student communication: cute, beautiful, beautiful, naughty)
Teacher: Look, its lovely eyes are shining! There is a new word hidden here! Do you know the meaning of sparkling?
Health: Very bright, very bright.
Teacher: Haha, you are right. Who can read this spark cuter?
(Students read by train, and the teacher immediately evaluates)
(Exercise in class: Students stand up and read while doing actions; Look at the blackboard and try to recite)
Teaching part 4:
(game consolidation word)
Teacher: Lotus leaf is very happy with the company of these friends today. The sun has set and friends are going home. After reading the picture, you can send the children home.
(Read the words and send them to your friends)
(Happy Writing: Flowers, Machines)
Teacher: The last beautiful lotus leaf gave us two words: flowers and machines. (Show these two words in Tian Ge) Take a closer look. Have you found the similarities and differences between these two words?
Student exchange:
Same: all wood and a few.
Different: the word is up and down, and the machine is left and right. The last picture of Chinese characters is horizontal bend, and the last picture of Chinese characters is horizontal bend hook. The last picture of the wooden character of a single word is a stroke, and the last picture of the wooden character of a machine character is a dot.
(Comment: Watch carefully. You really stand out! Remind students that the machine is left and right, and pay attention to the left narrow and right wide when writing; Flowers are up-and-down structures, so when writing, you should pay attention to tightening up and loosening down. Write a long line under another word. )
Third, the case analysis
Lower texts are always full of childlike interest. "Lotus Leaf Yuan Yuan" depicts the characteristics of the four friends of Lotus Leaf in concise language, which is vivid and accords with the psychological characteristics of junior students. In addition, the illustrations of the text give people a fresh and natural feeling, and with bright colors, it is easy to attract students' attention. Chinese curriculum standards require that Chinese teaching should be as interesting as possible, so that students can expand their imagination and strengthen their reading, thus feeling the beauty of language. Teacher Zhang uses a variety of literacy methods in teaching, creating colorful teaching situations through intuitive teaching methods, stimulating students' desire for learning and guiding students to feel the charm of language in reading aloud.
1. Reproduce new words in various ways.
The curriculum standard points out that the basis of reading and writing is the teaching focus of 1-2 grade, and 1-2 grade should recognize more and write less. In addition, "literacy teaching should take children's familiar language factors as the main materials, make full use of children's life experience, pay attention to literacy methods, and guide students to take advantage of extracurricular opportunities to actively read", which can "create colorful teaching situations by using a variety of literacy methods and imaginative teaching methods". One of the characteristics of first-year students' literacy is that they can recognize quickly and forget quickly. Therefore, in literacy teaching, Ms. Zhang repeated recitation in various ways, which also reflected her understanding and practice of Chinese curriculum standards.
(1) Combine pictures and texts to learn from life.
At the beginning of the class, Mr. Zhang presented a big and green lotus leaf painting on the blackboard, regarded himself as a lotus leaf and greeted the children, thus knowing the word "lotus". Linking the word "lotus leaf" with the lotus leaf in life makes the first-grade children have a deeper impression on "lotus leaf". In addition, when understanding the word "lotus", Mr. Zhang also asked the children how you remembered the word, so as to guide the students to understand the methods of recognizing Chinese characters: for example, adding one plus, changing one, etc. Similarly, when knowing the friends with lotus leaves in the text, Mr. Zhang also links the new words with the children's life experiences by combining pictures and texts, and learns from life, so that it is easier to remember these new words. Lively and lovely pictures of small animals also increase children's interest in literacy. When understanding the word "cradle", Mr. Zhang first starts with the radical of the word, so that students can understand the handle of "shake" and the bamboo prefix of "basket" (the cradle used to be made of bamboo, so the bamboo prefix is above the basket. Push it gently with your hand, and the cradle will shake slowly, so the shaking is next to your hand. Then, Mr. Zhang seized everyone's life experience and showed photos of the cradle where he lay when he was a child, which reminded the students of their memories and made them feel more intimate with the word "cradle".
(2) contact radicals and combine them to read.
Regarding the understanding of the word "lotus", Mr. Zhang has such a sentence: Look at the grass prefix above and you will know that it is a plant. Although a simple sentence has been passed, students have been guided to know new words through radicals: words with grass prefixes are generally related to plants. When understanding the word "bead" of "small water drop", Teacher Zhang asked the students to talk about what other words are beside the word "Wang". Through classification and textual research, it is considered that the characters next to the word "Wang" are generally related to jade. When learning the word "sparkling crystal", Mr. Zhang understood that "sparkling crystal" means very bright and bright through the combination of three words "sky" and "bright" in the word "sparkling crystal". In addition, the word "cradle" is also learned in this way.
(3) Reproduce the new words with board drawing.
Teacher Zhang's board paintings are colorful and rich in content, which can attract people's attention. Unexpectedly, at the end of class, Mr. Zhang Can painted with a wooden board again. By creating a situation-with the company of these friends today, Lotus Leaf is particularly happy, the sun is setting, and friends are going home. After reading the words at the back of the picture, you can send your friends home-reproduce the new words again, so that students can better consolidate the new words in this class.
(4) Contrast literacy and write in contrast.
Teacher Zhang is also struggling to teach new words in this class. Because there are many similarities and great differences between the words "flower" and "machine" in this text, Teacher Zhang chose to show them to guide students' writing. Let the students observe their similarities and differences through large screen projection, and then highlight the differences through coloring. I think students can understand these two words through their own observation and learn to write the words "flower" and "machine" through comparison. This experience can deepen their understanding of these two words.
2. Read repeatedly and feel the language.
The curriculum standard points out: "Reading is students' personalized behavior, and teachers' analysis should not replace students' reading practice. "In the design of this course, Mr. Zhang not only highlights the reading autonomy, but also embodies the three levels of reading teaching: perception, accumulation and application.
(1) Situation Creation, Imagination and Perception
"Read children's songs, nursery rhymes and simple ancient poems, expand your imagination, get a preliminary emotional experience and feel the beauty of language." This is one of the reading goals in the next paragraph of the curriculum standard. The article Lotus Leaf Circle is a good textbook to achieve this reading goal. In this beautiful, vivid and interesting prose poem, the round and green lotus leaves bring coolness to summer and happiness to small water drops, dragonflies, frogs and small fish. Teacher Zhang respects students' dominant position in class and guides students to read according to their own experiences and feelings on the basis of correct, fluent and comprehensive reading. Instruct students to think, act, speak and read. For example, after teacher Zhang showed the picture of lotus leaf on the slide, let everyone talk about the lotus leaf you saw, and then let the students read the sentence "Lotus leaf is round and green" according to their own feelings. Because some students have told the characteristics of lotus leaf through their own visual feelings before, and with the effective evaluation of teacher Zhang, students can read their feelings about this sentence well. After understanding the word "cradle", Mr. Zhang asked the students to take the chair as the cradle, lean back against the chair, close their eyes, imagine themselves lying in the cradle, listen to Mr. Zhang's reading, and then let the students talk about their feelings. Finally, let the students read this article with this feeling. This teaching design enables students to read the text after having a preliminary experience and feeling. In this way, students can better understand the content of the text and the language of the article, and can also better read the taste.
(2) Effective evaluation promotes effective reading.
Chinese curriculum standards point out that Chinese learning has the characteristics of attaching importance to emotional experience and sentiment. Therefore, the daily performance of students' Chinese learning should focus on praise and encouragement, supplemented by encouraging comments and positive guidance. In the whole class, Mr. Zhang's kind smile and gentle words will definitely leave a deep impression on the students. In addition to smiling all the time, one action that Teacher Zhang often does is to nod his head. On several occasions, when students stand up to speak, they will stutter or whisper because of lack of self-confidence. Teacher Zhang Can always gives a more cordial smile in time and keeps nodding his head to signal students to continue their speech or encourage children to be more confident. I think, under the guidance of such an amiable teacher and in such an inspiring classroom atmosphere, most children can basically form good habits of positive thinking and speaking, and they will become more confident and excellent. Pay attention to education while teaching. From such a small detail as Teacher Zhang, we can see that she is responsible for her students.
In addition, teacher Zhang's classroom evaluation language is particularly targeted and rich. For example, when reading the first paragraph of the text by roll call, she gave different evaluations according to the different stresses in students' reading. When the students reread the word "round", she commented, "I seem to see a round lotus leaf! Great! . "When the students reread the word" green ",she said," This lotus leaf is really bright. " For another example, when instructing students to read the pronunciation of "Xiaoyu", Teacher Zhang said to the children, "If you read the word" Er "of" Xiaoyu "well, this little fish will be more lively and lovely." What a vivid classroom language! This evaluation language can stimulate students' desire to read the pronunciation of "Xiaoyu" well, arouse their enthusiasm for learning, and at the same time have a special impression on this pronunciation.
