Male,/kloc-0 was born in Jianping county, Chaoyang city, Liaoning province in April, 1963./kloc-0 graduated from the history department of Fudan university in June, 1985, joined the army in July of the same year, and joined the party in February, 1992. He holds a bachelor's degree in history, a master's degree in law and a doctorate in military science. Now he is a professor and master tutor of Socialism with Chinese characteristics Theory Department of the Political Department of Dalian Naval Academy. He passed away on March 25th, 2008.
For many years, Fang Yonggang has been engaged in the teaching and research of political theory, and his deeds are shown in four aspects:
First, study hard and keep pace with the times.
Consciously be an in-depth learner of the party's innovation theory. Fang Yonggang edited 16 of the Party's monographs on innovation theory, published more than 100 academic papers, including more than 40 in core journals of the state and the army, won 28 first prizes for "outstanding achievements in military political theory research", and completed 7 key theoretical research topics of the army under the National Social Science Fund. 1On May 8th, 997, a car accident caused a serious fracture of his cervical vertebra. In the case of traction therapy, he still insisted on reading and studying. Hospitalization 108 days, read 43 books in a row, and completed a 300,000-word monograph "Asia-Pacific University and China Navy Strategic Pattern". In July 2003, President Hu put forward the development concept of adhering to coordinated development, all-round development and sustainable development. He adjusted the lecture notes for the next day overnight, which made this new idea enter the classroom for the first time and aroused strong repercussions among students. He gave up his rest and compiled "Scientific Outlook on Development Teaching Reader", which initially formed the teaching system of the Party's innovative theory and made contributions to the Party's innovative theory entering textbooks, classrooms and students' thoughts. On June 5438+ 10, 2006, he participated in the first seminar of political theory backbone of National Defense University, during which he wrote an article with more than 10000 words, "On the Time Value of the Long March Spirit", which was published in Guangming Daily. When he graduated, his speech "Guiding the Construction of Military Political Theory Talents with Scientific Outlook on Development" put forward his own views on how to recruit, introduce, use and retain talents in the army.

Consciously be a firm believer in the party's innovative theory. Fang Yonggang was born in a poor peasant family. It is a good policy of the party's reform and opening up, which gives him the opportunity to go to college, join the army, join the party with honor and become a teacher of military and political theory.
He deeply realized that only the Party's innovative theory can solve the development problems, which is the only correct theory to guide China to the road of prosperity and the people to live a harmonious and prosperous life. The Party's innovation theory is a scientific guide for building Socialism with Chinese characteristics and a great truth for realizing national development and national rejuvenation. It is with this firm belief that he always regards studying, researching and disseminating the Party's innovative theory as his most sacred duty, as the most sacred cause under the sun, and as the most important part of his life. Whenever the CPC Central Committee puts forward new ideas and theories, he studies them in time, and soon there will be papers or monographs published. For more than 20 years, he has constantly strengthened his faith in Marxism, Socialism with Chinese characteristics, reform, opening up and modernization, and the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Hu Jintao as the general secretary. He always believes that if his preaching can make the broad masses of officers and men and the people have a firmer trust in the Party, a deeper understanding of the Party's innovative theory and more confidence in building Socialism with Chinese characteristics, then learning and spreading the Party's innovative theory is the greatest value and full significance of his life!
Third, do not disgrace your mission and be willing to contribute.
Consciously be an active disseminator of the Party's innovative theory. Fang Yonggang conscientiously fulfilled the sacred duty of an ideological and theoretical worker. In the past six years, he has accumulated more than 0/000 class hours of teaching tasks/kloc-0, exceeding the teaching workload by 200% every year, and the teaching quality has been rated as A-level by the college for many years. At the same time, he also held more than 200 academic lectures for faculty and students in his spare time.
Since 1998, Fang Yonggang has made more than 1000 counseling reports for the military and local party and government organs, communities, enterprises, retired cadres, schools and other units as a member of Liaoning National Defense Education Lecturer Group, a visiting professor of shenyang military area command International Logistics Department and a member of Dalian Lecturer Group. 1998 10 went to Changshan fortress for correspondence counseling and gave lectures to the troops. Once, Fang Yonggang went to the North Sea Fleet for a special investigation, and a submarine base asked him to talk about military mission and fighting spirit. On one occasion, he went to Tieshan Town, Lushunkou District to give lectures to cadres in party member. After more than three hours of lectures, an 8O-year-old party member took his hand and said, "What you said is what we ordinary people want to know. After listening to you for so long, I didn't live in vain. " Another time, a town asked him to talk about the strategy of getting rich around rural issues. He took advantage of the May Day holiday, traveled to many towns and villages, consulted many experts, had a lesson on getting rich through science and technology, and promoted agriculture through science and technology, and proposed to support farmers in projects through small loans. After the report, an elder sister-in-law said excitedly, "You have talked about the party's good policies to our hearts, and you have sent the party's warmth to our remote mountain village."
Fourth, noble morality, unity of knowledge and action
Consciously be a model practitioner of the party's innovation theory. Fang Yonggang took his post as a platform, practiced the Party's innovative theory and made unremitting efforts for the Party. As early as March 2006, his condition showed signs, but because of his busy work, he never had a systematic examination. At that time, the college was undertaking the task of training 500 students in the fourth phase of the naval grass-roots political work class/KLOC-0, and he volunteered to undertake the first class "New Requirements for Naval Grass-roots Construction in the New Century and New Stage". In order to learn this lesson well, he carefully prepared, read millions of words of materials, went deep into the grassroots units to investigate, learned about the situation from the old navy, and learned about examples from comrades visiting ships. He revised the manuscript twelve times and tried 10 many times. During the formal lecture, he kept sweating, and after four classes, his underwear was all wet. He had to lie on the sofa in the lounge for a while during the break.
On August 22nd, 2007, Fang Yonggang was awarded the third prize as a famous teacher of higher education by the Ministry of Education.
Fang Yonggang joined the army for more than 20 years. Based on his firm belief in Marxism and his post, he deeply studied, actively disseminated and practiced the Party's innovative theory and made outstanding contributions to the Party's theoretical armed work.
Fang Yonggang faithfully performed his duties as a military school teacher. He spent all his time assiduously studying and studying the Party's innovative theory, often studying, preparing lessons, writing books and articles. He has read Selected Works of Deng Xiaoping and other books. From Deng Xiaoping Theory, Theory of Three Represents to Scientific Outlook on Development, every step forward of the Party's innovation theory will further deepen his study and research, and the research results will be continuously introduced. He published 16 monographs on political theory, completed 10 key scientific research projects of the state and the army, published more than 100 academic papers, and won the silver prize for education in military academies and the first prize for outstanding achievements in political theory research of the whole army. Fang Yonggang remained passionate all the time. His class is full of theoretical strength and personality charm. For six years in a row, the teaching quality has been rated as A-level by the college, and it has been rated as an excellent teacher and a young teacher for many times, and won 1 third class merit. As a member of Liaoning National Defense Education Lecturer Group, a member of Dalian Municipal Party Committee Lecturer Group, and a visiting professor of shenyang military area command International Logistics Department, Fang Yonggang has given more than 1000 counseling reports for military and local party and government organs, communities, enterprises and institutions, retired cadres, schools and other units, leaving his footprints in spreading innovative theories, and was praised as a "civilian professor", "popular scholar" and "popular science expert" by officers and men.
In June 2006, Fang Yonggang was diagnosed with advanced colon cancer, and he still struggled with the disease with tenacious perseverance. He insisted on returning to the college from the hospital, finished the last two classes of this semester for national defense students in the training class of naval grass-roots political cadres, and also completed the semester teaching and graduation thesis writing counseling tasks for three graduate students in the hospital bed. Fang Yonggang's real study, belief, propaganda and practice of the Party's innovation theory.
On June 20th, 2007, the Central Military Commission awarded Comrade Fang Yonggang the honorary title of model teacher of innovative theory loyal to the Party.
In the case of being diagnosed with advanced colon cancer, he raced against time. He said: "No matter whether the cancer is in the middle or late stage, there is no time limit for learning the Party's innovative theory. I can give up my life, but not my career; I'm not afraid of cancer, but I'm afraid of leaving my favorite three-foot platform. As long as you don't fall down, you must persist in studying, writing and talking, and practice the party's innovative theory with practical actions. " On the morning of June 5438+1October 65438+May, 2007, between the second and third chemotherapy after operation, he insisted on returning to the college from the hospital and finished his last two classes for the students.
