Beiyanfeng, with a mountain like Lohan Buddha, faces south and sits on the altar. The cemetery is built on the "Buddha" Mountain, covering an area of 400 mu.
Stepping into the gate of the cemetery, it is a horizontal archway with nine gold-plated characters marked "Jinggangshan Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery", which was inscribed by Comrade Song Renqiong, an old Red Army who participated in the Jinggangshan struggle. After entering the door, go through the flower garden and divide into two groups along the broad platform steps of the mountain. The first group, level 49, symbolizes the founding of New China 1949. The second group, 60 floors, indicates that the cemetery was built in 1987, marking the 60th anniversary of the founding of Jinggangshan Revolutionary Base.
There is a path on the east side of the back hill of the cemetery for the elderly, the weak and the sick to climb and watch. The greening preparation of the cemetery mainly adopts cypress, osmanthus, azalea and bamboo with pine, fir and mountain cherry blossoms. The big tree planted in front of the gate is Japanese fir, which is a national first-class protected tree species. The forest corridor and sculpture garden on both sides of the steps are made of cedar and boxwood. The whole garden is evergreen and decorated with plain flowers, which looks solemn.
