This paper briefly introduces Tang Xianzong's daughter, Princess Taihe, and the story of Princess Taihe and pro-Uighur.

Princess Ding 'an, the tenth daughter of Tang Xianzong, whose birth mother is unknown. Princess Taihe was first sealed, and after returning to China, she was promoted to Ding 'an big princess. She was a princess in the late Tang Dynasty. She married Fan Bang for the peace of the Tang Dynasty, but few people know her history. She was the fourth and last real pro-Uighur princess in the Tang Dynasty, and western Dunhuang scholars spoke highly of her. But in China, her fame is far less than that of Princess Wencheng and Princess Jincheng in the early Tang Dynasty.

In 82 1 AD, he was ordered to marry far away, and Uighur Baoyi Khan proposed marriage. Tang Muzong promised to marry Princess Yong 'an, the daughter of his own sister Xianzong. Before the trip, Baoyi Khan died, and Princess Yong 'an stayed in Dangtu and became a monk.

When Tang Muzong was first established (82 1 year), Chongde Khan, which was established in Uighur, quickly sent a huge team of more than 2,000 people, including viceroy, viceroy, Hu Ye and princess, to marry him in the Tang Dynasty, and took 20,000 horses and 1000 camels as dowry. Tang Muzong then recorded that his sister Princess Taihe was kind, filial, virtuous, intelligent and long-lived, and married the Uighur Chongde Khan.

When they got married, the weak Tang Ting and Chang 'an did not have enough facilities to receive Uighur envoys, so most of them were arranged outside the border, and the Tang Dynasty was forced to use strong currency to buy extra tributes (Uighur asked the Tang Dynasty to exchange silk for horses as tributes) and the princess's dowry.

Princess Taihe's wedding was unprecedented. According to records, on the day of his departure, Tang Muzong personally sent his sister to Tonghua Gate. After that, civil and military officials had ordered him to stand in front of Zhangjing Temple to bid farewell to the princess, and the court also sent many guards. People in the Tang Dynasty have not seen such a grand scene for a long time. Almost all men, women and children in Chang 'an came out to watch the princess's wedding.

On the way, in order to obstruct the close relationship between the two countries, Tubo sent troops to invade Qingsaibao and was repelled by Yanzhou secretariat Li. Later, in order to safely welcome Princess Taihe back to Uighur, Uighur sent 10,000 cavalry from the Northern Dynasties and 10,000 cavalry from Anxi to resist the intrusion of Tubo. In the Tang Dynasty, another 3,000 troops were sent to Yuzhou to resist Tubo.

On the way, Uighur sent 760 people to lead camels and horses to meet the princess in Huangluquan. Li V, the secretariat of Fengzhou, greeted Princess Taihe and the 3,000 soldiers who escorted her in Qingquan.

When the relatives and motorcade safely reached hundreds of miles away from the Uighur tooth account, Khan sent messengers to see Hu Zheng, the general of Sargingowei who escorted the princess to get married, and proposed to meet the princess privately on the path first. Hu Zheng didn't agree. The Uighur emissary argued that there was such a precedent when Princess Xian 'an got married. Hu Zheng replied: The Emperor of the Tang Dynasty asked me to send a princess to see Shan Yu. Since I haven't seen Khan today, the princess should not show up first. The Uighur messenger had to give up.

When the princess officially arrived at the Uighur tooth account, Chongde Khan greeted the princess with grand etiquette.

A few days later, Hu Zheng, the envoy of the Tang Dynasty, and others will return to the Tang Dynasty. The princess held a grand banquet in her account to bid it farewell. Princess Taihe couldn't bear the messenger from her hometown to leave, so she lost her voice and lingered for her. The scene is very sad. According to "Biography of Old Tang Dynasty" 145, the certificate will be returned, and those who linger in the banquet account will die. However, after sending you thousands of miles, it is different. The envoys of the Tang Dynasty finally bid farewell to the princess and set off for home. Khan rewarded them.

Rough experience Princess Taihe was married in the first year of Changqing, and Huichang was recaptured by Tang Jun in the third year (843). She lived in Uighur for 22 years and married at least three Khan as empresses.

During this period, Uighur suffered from internal and external troubles, natural and man-made disasters, and Khan changed frequently. Some ministers even lured Shushatuo, Chagas and other countries or tribes to attack Uighurs, which eventually led to the demise of the Uighur khanate. Uighurs were forced to leave their homes. After Chagas seized the Uighur tooth account, Princess Taihe was kidnapped by Ujiehan on her way back to the Tang Dynasty and returned to the mainland after several twists and turns.

Since then, the border trade between Tang and returning to China has become active again, but the good times did not last long. Uighur first natural disasters, successive years of famine and plague, and then various factions compete for power and status, and the country is divided:

In 824 (Zitongzhijian recorded his death in 824, and New Tang Book recorded his death in 825), Chongde Khan died of illness, and his brother Zhao Li Khan succeeded to the throne;

In 832, Zhao Li Khan was killed by his subordinates, and Zhao Li Khan's nephew Zhang Xin Khan acceded to the throne;

In 839, the Prime Minister dug Luo Bujian and led the Shatuo Turks (tribes other than the ten western Turks) to attack Khan in Zhang Xin. Khan committed suicide after defeat and dug Luo Bujian to stand on his own feet as Khan.

In 840, an unknown Uighur general led 100,000 soldiers and horses to attack Uighur (about 3,000 miles west of Uighur, originally a tribe under the jurisdiction of Uighur), killed the digger and burned the dental account (palace) to the ground. The remaining 13 tribe, led by Zhao Li Khan's younger brother Ujie, went south to Cuozishan (southern outer Mongolia) on the border of the Tang Dynasty and became Ujie Khan in 84 1 year.

In the scuffle, Princess Taihe was captured by Togas' troops. After Tuoba Si identified himself as the famous Li Ling of the Western Han Dynasty, he and Li Tangben were the same family, so he sent Dagan and others 10 to send Princess Taihe back to Tang Dynasty. On the way, Yu Jiehan sent his troops to attack Dagan, recaptured Princess Taihe, and requested the title of Tang Dynasty in the name of Princess Taihe. Tang Wuzong was very concerned about this and adopted the suggestion of Prime Minister Li Deyu. He sent a special envoy to Uzbekistan to offer condolences for disaster relief, and promised to lend 30,000 meters of stone, which was officially named Khan.

However, Uzbek Khan was not satisfied, and kept asking Tang for conditions such as borrowing food and soldiers, hoping that the Tang court would help him restore the country. At this time, the Tang Dynasty was not the heyday of that year, so it did not meet his various requirements. Uzbekistan hijacked Princess Taihe to the south, invaded the border of Datang, and successively attacked and plundered Datong, Ma Xian, Tiande and Zhenwu.

Ussuri Khan tried to send the princess south to the border of the Tang Dynasty to revive the rivers and mountains. At this time, the Tang empire saw its decline, and it would never take the once arrogant Uighur seriously and decisively send troops to defeat it.

In the first month of the third year of Huichang (843), Tang Wuzong adopted the opinion of Prime Minister Li Deyu and sent Tiandejun to send Shi Xiong to Uighur. Shi Xiong made a surprise attack plan and personally led several elite soldiers to raid Uzbek Khan's residence in the dark. Then Shi Xiong's army cooperated with Linzhou (Shenmu, Shaanxi Province) and Wuhan to kill Hushan (Montenegro). In this World War I, Tang Jun was defeated by Uighur. She got back Princess Taihe, and she swallowed the evil spirits for nearly a hundred years. Ujiekhan didn't expect to kiss his father-in-law's house for so many years, so he would stab himself from behind. In a panic, 3,000 people scattered and fled to Shi Wei, the leader of his brother-in-law, who was later killed by his men. The Uighur khanate perished and the tribes dispersed. The century-long struggle between the Tang Dynasty and the Hui people finally ended.
