Shuixi Park, located in Xiqing District, Tianjin, includes five natural villages: Wangdingdi, Backstage, Li Jiayuan and Dongjingjing. The park reaches Chunming Road in the east, Xiangyi Road in Baoze West Road in the south, Zhong Da Road in the west and Xiangze Road in Xiangya Road in the north. The planned usable land area is1405,700 square meters, including water area of 427,300 square meters and land area of 978,400 square meters. The park is open to the public. This park is named "Shuixi Park" for two reasons. First, the "Water West Park" echoes the water park from a distance and becomes a sister park, forming an urban garden pattern of "South Water Flows West" in Tianjin, which reflects the people's deep feelings for the water park, and can also extend this feeling to the water west park. Second, it originated from Tianjin's reputation as "the lower tip of Jiujiang". The early names of Tianjin were Zhiguzhai, Haijin Town and Tianjinwei. No matter how the place names evolve, the ancient times, the sea and the capital all reflect the characteristics of Tianjin born of water. Water is of great significance in Tianjin. This park is located in the west of Tianjin, so it is called Shuixi Park.
