It means that Confucius was a saint who told many truths and guided people's behavior, thoughts and morals, so that he had a more systematic theory of etiquette, justice and integrity, so that the ancient Chinese people would not be ignorant of etiquette, integrity and ethics, and they would not be ignorant of etiquette and education, and made the ancient Chinese people break away from their primitive nature. , constantly developing towards the unique nature of human beings. Get out of primitive and ignorant situations. This sentence comes from Volume 93 of Zhu Xi's "Zhu Zi Yu Lei", but Zhu Xi said a sentence immediately after this poem: "Tang Zixi tasted this sentence between the beams of a postal pavilion." Tang Zixi's name was Tang Geng (1069-1120), courtesy name Zixi, from Meizhou (now Meishan, Sichuan). "Tang Zixi Wenlu" records: "There is a couplet inscribed on the wall of the Shu Taoist hall: "Heaven does not give birth to Zhong. "Ni, eternity is like a long night," I don't know who wrote the poem." Tang Zixi, as an eyewitness to this poem, doesn't know who wrote it, so it is generally believed to be an unknown poet from the Song Dynasty.
