Su Shi's calligraphy works

Su Shi's calligraphy works handed down from ancient times are mainly running script and regular script, and his representative works include Cold Food Post, Zuiweng Pavilion, Crossing the Sea Post, Dongting Spring Poetry and so on.

1, cold food post.

Cold food paste, also known as Huangzhou cold food poem paste or Huangzhou cold food paste, has the reputation of "the third running script in the world" and its position in the history of Chinese calligraphy is immeasurable. The calligraphy Mo Bao contains two poems written by Su Shi when he was relegated to Huangzhou. After Huang Tingjian wrote the postscript, there were two calligraphers' ink on one volume, which was praised as "a double gem" by later generations.

Appreciating Cold Food Sticker is like a rare calligraphy work. Master Su is holding his hand and looking at the drizzle outside the window, telling you his worries and feeling the impermanence of life.

2. Drunk pavilion.

Zuiwengting Ji is a famous work by Ouyang Xiu and written by Su Shi. Zuiweng Pavilion is extremely tough, with calm and generous font, rigid and meticulous structure, ingenious and complicated structure, and free and easy.

3. Crossing the Sea.

"Crossing the Sea" is a note written by Su Shi when he was called to move to Lianzhou (now Hepu, Guangxi) and passed through Chengmai (now Chengmai, Hainan) without meeting Zhao Mengde. Note: Different inscriptions are deliberately made, so they can best reflect the calligraphy characteristics of calligraphers. "Crossing the Sea Post" uses a sharp pen, the knot is inclined to the right, and the letters are swaying, which is natural.

4. Dong Ting Chun Fu.

Ode to Spring in Dongting Lake seems simple and ordinary at first glance, but on closer inspection, it is as rich and magnificent as Dongting Lake.
