Three Miscellaneous Poems is a group of poems created by Wang Wei, a poet of the Tang Dynasty. This is a set of five-character quatrains written in the style of Jiangnan Yuefu folk songs to express the love between men and women after separation, implying the emotion of missing one's hometown.

The first poem describes the lady’s longing for the distant future and the mood of looking forward to the news. The second poem describes a wanderer missing his family and asking people from his hometown about his family situation. The third poem is about the words of the missing woman in her reply to her husband. The three poems describe a lingering and profound feeling, either directly expressing one's feelings, or holding something in mind, without any polish.
