Flowers shed tears mercilessly, birds are frightened without hatred, and flowers and birds have grievances because of people. Flowers in spring are originally beautiful and fragrant; Birds in spring should cheer and sing euphemistic songs to make people happy.
Whether it is "feeling for time" or "hating farewell", it embodies Du Fu's misery. The meaning of these two sentences can be understood as follows: I feel the frustration of the current situation and see the flowers bloom and fall; I feel depressed and resentful, and I feel scared when I hear birds singing.
People's inner pain, when they meet happiness, will cause more pain, just like "I have been there, and there is another village;" Today, I think, this is how it rains. Du Fu inherited this artistic technique of expressing sadness in musical scenes and endowed it with deeper feelings.
Get richer artistic effects. The poet felt the pain of national destruction and death. The more beautiful the scene, the more it will increase his inner pain. This kind of association creates feelings and empathizes with things through the description of scenery. It shows the poet's deep feelings of worrying about the country and the people and missing his family.

spring scenery
Tang Dynasty: Du Fu
Chang' an fell, the country was broken, and only the mountains and rivers remained; Spring has come, and the sparsely populated Chang' an city is densely forested.
Sad state, can not help but burst into tears, amazing birds, leaving sorrow and hate.
The war lasted for more than half a year, and letters from home were rare, with a hundred thousand gold.
Twisting with melancholy, scratching my head and thinking, the more I scratch my white hair, I can hardly insert a hairpin.
Translation:
When the country fell, only the mountains and rivers remained the same, and the urban areas were overgrown with weeds in spring.
I am worried and sad, but I will cry when I see the flowers bloom. It pains me to leave my family.
The war has not stopped in March, and the letters from home are precious and can be worth thousands of dollars.
I only scratch my head when I am depressed and upset, so that my white hair is sparse and I can't insert it.

Creative background:
In July of the 14th year of Tianbao (755), Prince Hengli was located in Lingwu (present-day Ningxia), known as Su Zong in the world, and was renamed as De. Du Fu heard the news and went to Su Zongting alone.
Unfortunately, he was captured by the rebels on the way, but he was not imprisoned because of his humble position. In the spring of the second year of Zhide, Du Fu, who was in the occupied area, witnessed the scene of depression in Chang 'an, and he had mixed feelings, so he wrote this masterpiece that will be told for generations.
Analysis:
The whole article revolves around the word "Wang", and the first four sentences are lyrical by taking advantage of the scenery. The poet set off the ruin of the country by describing Chang 'an, which is lush and sparsely populated. The first song "Although the country is divided, the mountains and rivers will last forever" is shocking and has a sense of historical vicissitudes.
Wrote the sad scene of the country destroying the city. The phrase "Where the petals have fallen like tears, and the lonely bird has sang mourning" personifies the flowers and birds, feeling that the country is divided and the national affairs are difficult, and the flowers and birds in Chang 'an are all shocked by tears.
Write about spring with flowers and birds, hurt things, and express the sadness of national subjugation and parting with personification. Reflect the poet's patriotic feelings. The poet's perspective ranges from climbing to focusing.
From far to near, feelings from light to strong, it is in this cross-conversion of feelings and scenery that the poet implicitly expressed his sigh and anger. The country is in turmoil, the war has been going on for years, the people are in poverty, and Le Shu is impassable. At this time, it is particularly valuable to receive a letter from home.
The poet reflects from the side the great pain brought by the war to the people, and the urgent mood of people wanting to know whether their loved ones are safe during the turbulent period. At the same time, it also shows the poet's deep concern for the country through hard-won letters from home.
In the last two sentences, the poet's increasingly sparse white hair can't even be inserted into the hair clasp, and the poet's anxiety and indignation are deeply and widely expressed by action. The whole poem is mixed with scenes, but it is implicit and concise, which fully embodies the artistic style of the poet's "depression and frustration"
