Robert creeley (USA)
In case I think
Let yourself again
Fall into old love
Be under control
Speak in a low voice.
Pain, bending
Become a root
Nails that can't be pulled out.
Honey, isn't it?
Can't show one's heart
That's it.
What is important?
We are each other.
Can contact each other?
Like a hammer.
Re-tap
Put the bent nail
The old injury recurred.

Crilley (1920-) is a famous poet of Heishan School. He fought in the battlefields of India and Myanmar during World War II and returned to Harvard University after the war. From 65438 to 0954, he was invited by Olson to teach in Montenegro College and edited the famous Montenegro Review magazine. Among the schools of poetry in Montenegro, it seems that his achievements are the most outstanding. Like Williams, he insisted on using spoken language to enter poetry and sought the internal combination of poetry from loose short sentences. His poems are different from Duncan's. Duncan tried to incorporate philosophy into an open poetic form, and explored the relationship between essence and phenomenon in his poems. Most of his poems are lyric short poems, with fresh and clear poetic style, and some of his excellent works have profound implications.
Cleary is a prolific poet. His poetic style hides the connotation of poetry in a seemingly scattered or even random form, and his concise short-term poetic style makes him one of the most striking figures in contemporary American poetry.
As a poet's love poem, Fear contains rich imagination and feelings. After reading this poem, we can capture the poet's unique thinking and poetic style.
The poet began the poem with "for fear ...". These two words, like a dark line, slowly and gently draw the emotional entanglement of "yesterday" to the light, in which the helpless sadness and the mood of breaking off the old feelings are contained here. Lest I be controlled by the old love again, it tells readers that the old love is not sweet, happy or full of life. It is like a rope, controlling my soul. In other words, it is a crooked nail that can't be pulled out, and it has sentenced my love and life to death. Because of my infatuation and heartfelt, in other words, wishful thinking, I am "humble" and "unable to show my heart" in front of Iraq. In exchange for this price, Iraq is drifting away, indifferent and even dismissive, pretending not to know, which is in line with my pain and bent into a nail. Faced with this situation, I calmed down and reflected, and finally realized clearly that "we can't be' soul mates'". If you continue to be trapped in this relationship, you can only "push the bent nail" and "beat the old scar".
At first glance, this poem is chaotic, which makes people feel contradictory and full of the poet's spiritual feeling when writing poetry. This is the unique poetic style of this poem. The language of this poem is concise and clear, and it has the freshness, naturalness, conciseness and simplicity of Kaku Takashina. Here, the poet's language, using the method of "jumping", can increase the inclusiveness of poetry and make the language more compact and refined. From the present feeling in the poem, "I'm afraid I'll re-"jumps back to the old feelings, "humble and painful", and then jumps back to reality to "we are each other" and "can we be emotionally connected?" Here, the jumping range is circuitous and seems to be close to each other. However, in this "jumping" language, there happens to be a main line that the poet grasps-the emotional reason of "fear". Just a few crosses have expressed poetry and infinite poetry, which can be described as "short words are lacking in skills, and detailed words are complicated."
Poetry is expensive and implicit. The subtle and profound effect of this poem lies in the clever use of the poet's image, and there are "bends", "nails" and "hammers" in the poem. What are the implications for philosophy? The poet did not confess, but used it to stimulate readers' association, imagination and fantasy, giving viewers a feeling of turning around and suddenly seeing the countryside. As Gorky said, a poem "Walking into a meadow in the forest, flowers are blooming everywhere and sunshine is everywhere" is not a poem. The "crooked" nail is the fruitless and sour love pursued by "me" and "humble and painful", which firmly nailed me at the crossroads of life. If I indulge in this feeling again and again, I can only become a "hammer", blowing the pain and sadness of the past louder and heavier. In order to "avoid" this, "I" will bid farewell to my old love, find a new life and get rid of its "control". The use of this imagery technique makes people unforgettable. It can be said that the symbol itself is an end, which is specially arranged by the poet for the appreciator.
I am afraid, I have let myself fall again, and under the control of old feelings express my feeling of pursuing unattainable love and seeking self-help and liberation in pain and helplessness. The exploration of artistic conception of this kind of poems is not within reach and clear at a glance. In his poems, the poet hides the soul of the poem in the dim moonlight, and only by cramping and peeling can he see its meaning. This is the realm created by the poet's aesthetic ideal, aesthetics and emotion through symbolic artistic expression.
The content of this poem can be summarized as "lovelorn". Fortunately, the poet did not pay attention to the pain, helplessness and inability to extricate himself after lovelorn, but fell into the mood of looking for a new life. Therefore, it gives readers neither tears nor worries, but waits for "I" to shake my head, bid farewell to old feelings and move towards dawn with a calm mind. This kind of poem, hidden in emotion, is thought-provoking, and has a hazy beauty of "looming". It's like standing at the end of a mountain and looking at a foggy village. Trees and houses are there, foggy and confusing, attracting people's scrutiny. When the sun rises, everything is between the eyes.
