His great-grandfather moved to Jingnan (now Jingzhou, Hubei Province), and his father and son Liang was the governor Liang and the secretariat of Qin Erzhou. Geng was eager to learn when he was a child, and he could recite poems and fu. When I grew up, I dabbled in historical biography, especially five-character poems, which was highly valued at that time. Xiao Yi, an official of Guan Liang, joined the army. After Chen joined the army, he became a clerk in the mansion of Chen Bomao, the king of Shixing, and was appreciated. He moved to Jinling as a satrap, an army officer and a regular servant. He died in the last years of Chen Wendi Tianjia. Yin Keng's artistic style is similar to that of He Xun, who later called it "Yin He".

When I was old, I dabbled in history books and biographies, especially good at writing five-character poems, which was highly valued at that time. The newly appointed Liang Chaoxiang tied Wang Facao to join the army. In cold weather, Yinkeng used to entertain guests and friends. When he saw the wine delivery man, he gave him hot wine. Everyone here laughs at him. Yin Keng said, "We drink bitter wine all day long, and those who hold it don't know the taste of it, which is inhuman." When he went to Hou Jing for an insurrection, Yin Keng was caught by a thief and someone saved him. Yinkeng asked the man why he saved him. It turns out that he used to be a wine dealer. In the middle of Tianjia, Yin Keng joined the army and worked as a clerk in Shixing Wang Fu Middle School. Sai-jo once gave a banquet with ministers to write poems, and Xu Ling told Sai-jo about the Yin Pit. On the same day, Sai-jo called Yin Keng to a banquet and ordered him to write poems for the newly completed Anle Palace. Yin Keng began to write, and sai-jo appreciated him very much. He was also appointed General Zhaoyuan, the magistrate of Jinling, and the regular attendant of all the riders, and soon died. There are three volumes of anthology in the world.
