Li He, who was not allowed to be a scholar, stayed at home in Changgu. Although his hometown was beautiful and he could enjoy family happiness, it was difficult to dispel his depressed feelings. He wrote this group of poems. Fang Fu Nan, a Qing Dynasty poet, said in his Annotations on Li Changji's Poems that the writing origin of "Two Poems of Wing Huai" is as follows: "These two poems are not allowed to be awarded the humble official of the gift-giving lang after the Jinshi returned to Changgu. The former said to offer a gift, while the latter said it was in Changgu."
