The location we visited was Du Fu Thatched Cottage, which is located next to Huanhua Park on the Second Ring Road. The entire thatched cottage covers an area of ??about 270 acres. There is a beautifully made cement wall in front of the gate. After entering the gate, we walked through a tree-lined path to the Daya Hall. Famous poets from various dynasties are carved in the Daya Hall: Du Fu is in the center, and next to it are Li Bai, Wang Wei, Bai Juyi, Chen Ziang, etc. After walking out of Daya Hall, we came to the flower path. There was a red wall on both sides of the flower path. There were various bamboos on the side of the red wall: mian bamboo, thatch bamboo, and green silk bamboo. Walking out of the flower path, you can see the hut where Du Fu lived before. We also recited "Song of Thatched Cottage Broken by the Autumn Wind" in front of the thatched cottage. This poem deeply expressed Du Fu's hardships in the living environment of the thatched cottage. The line in the poem: "There are tens of thousands of mansions, and the cold soil of the world is protected." "Everyone is happy" deeply expresses Du Fu's ideals and pursuit of life. The sentence "My house is broken down alone, I will freeze to death" reflects the poet's selfless spirit, which has been touching people for thousands of years. The hut is equipped with a living room, kitchen, study room, bedroom, etc. When you come to the Epic Hall, you can see the bronze statue of Du Fu, which was carved by the famous Chinese sculptor Liu Kaiqu. This statue is very thin and best expresses the hardships and twists of Du Fu's life. Next to the bronze statue, there is a poem written by Zhu De The couplet "The thatched cottage will be left to future generations, and the poem will be remembered for thousands of years." Because Chengdu is far away from the war-torn Central Plains, the Thatched Cottage It is also located in the suburbs, so Du Fu wrote famous poems with pastoral style here, such as "Tangcheng", "Jiangcun", "Spring Night Joyful Rain", etc. Du Fu wrote more than 2,000 poems in his life, 240 of which were completed in the Thatched Cottage. Du Fu's Thatched Cottage has collected more than 1,000 poems. These poems have left us with precious literary wealth. Therefore, later generations praised Du Fu's Thatched Cottage as a literary A sacred place in history.
Going further inside, there are scenic spots such as Daxi, Gongbu Temple, Chaimen, and Tang Dynasty ruins. Each of them has its own characteristics and shows different charms, making people want to go back and forth. A short time has passed.
