Poetry and articles describing "Shen Nong Stream"

Shennong Creek

is located on the north bank of the river in Badong County. It originates from the south slope of the main peak of Shennongjia. It has a total length of 60 kilometers and runs through the mountains from north to south in the shape of a leaf. It breaks through the wall at Xitangkou and flows into the Yangtze River. To the north is the mysterious Shennongjia Nature Reserve. 20 kilometers of rafting routes have been opened, covering an area of ??57.5 square kilometers. Two Tujia villages split the 20-kilometer deep gorge into three gorge sections: Mianzhu, Parrot and Longchuanhe. Mianzhu Gorge is a steep canyon in the stream. The 4-kilometer channel has a drop of 24 meters. There are more than 30 large and small beaches. There are peaks and rocks on both sides of the river, and there are many caves. Parrot Gorge is 7.5 kilometers long, with winding mountains, green streams, birds singing and flowers fragrant on both sides of the bank, full of wild charm, and is famous for its "show". Longchuan Gorge is known as "majestic". It is 5.7 kilometers long, lush and deep, and the cliffs on both sides are like an axe. The passage is heavy and several rock coffins are clearly visible in the valley. The two Tujia villages show visitors a primitive, simple and magical picture of folk customs.

[Appreciation of Ancient Poetry and Prose] Xi Hanxi by Du Fu of the Tang Dynasty

The long snake wanders away from the water, embracing the river village in the wild teeth.

One orchid, Zhoulong Cave, and several thatched huts are home to wild people.

In winter, the trees are pure green pine trees, and in spring, there are red peach and plum blossoms.

The Qinglian Heritage Site at the foot of the mountain is often covered by white clouds.

Xihangxi, a stream located on the northeastern coast of Badong, Hubei, now known as Shennongxi, is a newly developed international tourist hotspot. Clear streams that are dozens of kilometers long flow among the deep valleys. The scenery is unique, majestic and dangerous, giving tourists a sense of magic and fantasy. Many tourists often compare it with the Three Gorges. Recently, there are many people who come here for sightseeing and reciting poems and poems. Du Fu, the great poet of the Tang Dynasty, can be regarded as the first person to praise this landscape.

Du Fu's "Xi Han Stream" describes the strange scenery of Shennong Creek, showing readers the charming scenery and interest of Shennong Creek, which reflects the poet's profound artistic skills. The first couplet of the poem, "The long snake runs away from the river, embracing the river village in Yeya" is closely related to the scenic spot. It uses the meandering shape of the long snake and the winding and surrounding state of the distant stream, giving people an image and perceptible charm. The word "embrace" vividly outlines the scenery of streams surrounding mountains and mountains and rivers in an anthropomorphic way, which is an extraordinary starting point. For example, when describing the situation of a stream, the mountains are winding and scattered, so the stream itself takes on the shape of a snake. The following two lines of the couplet, "A boat with an orchid leaf, a dragon cave house, and several thatched huts and wild people's homes" describe the poet sailing on a boat with an orchid leaf on the water, and watching the scenery on both sides of the strait in the boat. "Lanzhou" generally refers to a boat made of magnolia wood. In ancient poetry and prose, "Lanzhou" is a good name for a boat.

And "Longdong Mansion" is "a wonder of the landscape", which refers to the Longchang Cave Gorge in the stream today. This is like a wonderland in the water. The scenery described here is full of poetry and painting. "Several huts" point out the simple and honest living environment of the mountain people in the mountains on both sides of the stream. The "wild" in "Yerenjia" here means "mountain wilderness" and "remote". There are spring mountains, green water, and even more living and free people moving among them. When the poem is written here, the scenery and customs are integrated, and the reader seems to see such a wonderful and moving picture: exquisite orchid boats are floating on the clear stream, and the mountains and forests on both sides are covered with green trees; The farmhouses are filled with smoke, and the mountain people are contentedly hidden in the bamboo forest. What a tranquil and elegant mood. The beauty of Shenlong Creek lies in both the scenery and the emotion. The two lines of the poem's neck couplet, "Pure green pine and fir trees in winter, red peach and plum blossoms in spring," express the pleasant climate, beautiful and unique scenery on both sides of the stream in all seasons. "Winter" and "spring" here refer to the four seasons, because the natural scenery changes greatly in "winter" and "spring". However, when "winter comes", the pine forests and fir trees are evergreen, showing a sense of vitality despite the harsh winter; when spring comes, peaches and plums compete for spring, Peach red and plum white complement each other and compete for beauty. They are both gorgeous and show infinite vitality. The last couplet is "The Qinglian ruins site at the foot of the mountain is often covered by white clouds." The poet here is not satisfied with the appearance of the landscape, local customs and customs in front of him, but also extends his brushstrokes to the "former site of Qinglian" looming among the white clouds at the foot of the mountain. "Qinglian" is difficult to confirm, but it may refer to a place name. However, it is said that the poet Li Bai once traveled here, and Li Bai called himself "Qinglian layman". It is possible that "Qinglian" refers to Li Bai. It can be imagined that the place where the poet Li Bai once visited is looming among the white clouds, and it is set against the beautiful scenery of the mountains and rivers, which adds to the charming wildness and poetic feeling. How charming and thought-provoking that would be!

The whole poem starts with "water" and ends with "cloud". The scenery in the painting can be said to be the same color of water and sky, with endless scenery. Although Shennong River is both majestic, beautiful and dangerous, the poet's focus is more on displaying the beautiful features of the scenic spot. The poet fully felt the beauty and elegance of the natural scenery and folk customs of Shennong River. The description of the scenery in the whole poem not only showed the poet's superhuman aesthetic quality, but also his extraordinary literary skills.

This freehand expression of emotion is indeed pleasing to the eye.

Beauty is infinite. After reading Mr. Du’s poems, we can’t help but think: Friends, please come to Shennong Creek and discover the beauty that the poet has not yet discovered!

[Modern Prose] No need to walk, ride a horse, or take a car, but you can be in a natural, simple, wild, and dangerous travel gallery, and enjoy the beauty of nature. The infinite fun of fighting and enjoying the folk customs of Tujia villages are our rafting destination - Shennong Creek.

Shennongxi International Tourist Attraction is located at the southern foot of Shennongjia, a famous nature reserve in my country, and in the canyon in the north of Badong County. It is 60 kilometers long and receives 17 streams along the way. It passes through mountains and rivers all the way until it breaks through the wall at Xitangkou on the east side of the Wu Gorge mouth and flows into the Yangtze River.

We sat on the local "Wandoujiao" small wooden boat, and the boatman escorted us to float from top to bottom. The tour guide's wonderful explanation brought us into the dangerous, beautiful and heroic world of Mianzhu. On both sides of the gorge, there are peaks and valleys, beaches upon beaches, and bays upon bays. The "Peanut Point" wooden boat rides on the waves, like an arrow leaving its string, bringing us into the artistic conception of "green mountains on both sides of the strait rising out from each other." The ladies accompanying us could not help but scream in surprise, but the tour guide smiled cheerfully and said: "There are skilled boatmen, so there is no danger!"

Soon the small wooden boat slowed down and moved smoothly in the stream. It flows slowly above and reaches the deep pool where "the clear water flows eastward to this point". Birds are singing and flowers are fragrant on both sides of the bank, and the mountains are winding and verdant. While boating in Jingtan, we thought carefully about the hanging coffin of the Ba people on the cliff, and watched the stream change with concentration. Suddenly, three colors of spring water with different clear and turbid colors appeared on the blue stream, forming three long ribbons floating on the stream, following the boat and lingering for a long time, making us all gasp in surprise.

The fragrance is refreshing, a little singing is sent to the eardrums, and a red pavilion comes into view. The tour guide told us that this is Shennongxi Restaurant. This building has an antique look, with cornices and carved columns, but it is equipped with modern facilities such as solar water heaters. It can be said that it combines national characteristics and modern flavor. Here we tasted the fragrant Tujia camellia soup, drank anti-cancer and anti-cancer selenium-rich mineral water, tasted local specialties such as "Gexian rice" and "Mahua fish", and watched the Tujia people's colorful paintings to return their Nuo wishes. We played in the hall, danced a harmonious and interesting hand-waving dance, and bought tourist products such as Xilan Kapu and Tujia flower baskets... It wasn't until the next group of tourists came to the restaurant that we left step by step.

Shennong Creek, the original landscape gallery, is a magical creek created by heaven and earth.

Shennong Creek is a stream with authentic Tujia flavor and rich local customs.

[Folk Literature] Why is this ever-flowing stream called Shennong Creek?

According to legend , Shennong lived in Shennongjia, not far from the north bank of Wu Gorge on the Yangtze River. His wife was very virtuous and had a close relationship with the local people. The two of them gave birth to children in this area, prospered agriculture and forestry, and taught people the skills to make a living. After Shennong passed away, he became an immortal and went to heaven in this area. His wife stayed in the world and did not become an immortal and ascend to heaven. Finally, she turned into a spring water, running from north to south, and poured into the Yangtze River at the east and west mouth of Bashu. This stream Later it was called Shennong Creek.
