One poem a day1-"Mud Foot"

Speaking of the word poetry, what is your first reaction? I remember "there is such bright light at the foot of my bed, can it have frosted?" Recite when I was a child in order to get praise from my elders; Remember when I recited in the exam, "Although the steeple is indestructible, one person's strength is above ten thousand people"? In those youthful years, poetry brought us more distress. After all, the difficult road to learning, pipa and other exam items are not easy to recite.

When I grow up, I don't have to recite poems in the exam, but my heart is empty. Some people criticize exam-oriented education, and cramming exam-oriented education has really laid a solid foundation for our lives. It's really strange that I don't have to recite poems in the exam, but I want to recite some poems, at least I do. The beauty of philosophy, scenery and strength contained in the poem ... I can't find words to describe it. For me, poetry is a special existence.

The poem I want to introduce to you today is Mud Feet by Japanese poet Gowei Muzaki.

There are too many miserable things and too many beautiful things in this world. Don't deny the beauty of existence because of those unbearable things. So when you hear dirty stories and see ugly things, you should listen, wash your eyes and be down to earth. When your legs are covered with mud, the earth will give you strength.
