Formerly known as Dongyue Palace, it is located at the foot of Fengshan in the northern suburb of Anxi County. It is a national AAA scenic spot and a county-level cultural relics protection unit. It was built without inspection. In the thirty-second year of Shaoxing in the Southern Song Dynasty (1 162), Yizhu rebuilt. The temple is divided into two halls, front and back, built on the mountain, with high and low levels. The existing buildings are the remains of Jian Kang and Ganjian in Qing Dynasty (1662- 1795). There are also Chitou Palace, Jixian Hall, Lotus Pond, Tan Yue Temple, Cross Temple (the monastery) and Wanshantang. There is Huiweng Pavilion behind the temple, and there is an arched stone square in front of the temple.
Dongyue Temple has elegant scenery, with Fengshan in the north, Qingxi in the south and three peaks of penholder. Overlooking the battlements, fireworks clouds steamed; Looking up at the summit, the morning sun sets. Because Dongyue Temple is located in Fengshan Scenic Area, many celebrities have set foot in it since ancient times, leaving many inscriptions and cultural relics. Now there are two tablets inscribed by Zhang Ruitu, a calligrapher in the Ming Dynasty, which are called "Ancient Temple at the Foot of the Wind" and "Brilliant Light Shining". Zhu Laiguan, a philosopher in the Southern Song Dynasty, wrote the title "Spring Sound at the Foot of Phoenix", ranking first among the ancient "Eight Scenes of Anxi".
