The Original Text and Its Significance of Li Qingzhao's Summer Jueju
Live and be a man among men; Die and become the soul in the soul.
Today, people still miss Xiang Yu because he refused to live and returned to the East.
Meaning:
You should be born a hero and die a ghost.
To this day, people still miss Xiang Yu because he refused to drag out an ignoble existence and returned to Jiangdong.
Appreciation of summer quatrains: "Life is a hero, and death is a ghost." The first two sentences of the poem are in the air, like a close call, showing the heroic spirit of life and death to the readers, which makes people respect.
The last two sentences of the poem, "I miss Xiang Yu so far and refuse to cross Jiangdong", point out the reason. Xiang Yu's most heroic act was because he was "ashamed to meet his elders in Jiangdong" and gave up the spirit of temporarily avoiding the revival of Jiangdong and committed suicide. In the view of the author Li Qingzhao, the extraordinary heroism shown by this failure was particularly valuable when Song Ting crossed the river. The poet praised the spirit of "refusing to cross the Yangtze River" because of his deep feelings about current affairs and expressed his patriotic enthusiasm with historical facts.
Li Qingzhao, the author of "Summer quatrains", is from Jinan, qi zhou, Han nationality. A poetess in Song Dynasty, a representative of graceful and restrained ci school, was known as "the first talented woman in the ages". Li Qingzhao was born in a scholarly family and had a good life in his early years. Her father Li has a rich collection of books, and she has laid a literary foundation in a good family environment since she was a child. After marriage, she and her husband Zhao Mingcheng devoted themselves to the collection and arrangement of calligraphy and painting stones.
In the second year of Jingkang (1 127), Jin Bing invaded the Central Plains, destroyed the Qionglou Yuyuan Garden in the Song Dynasty, and took away the Hui and Qin emperors. Zhao Song was forced to flee south. Later, Li Qingzhao's husband Zhao Mingcheng became a health magistrate. One night, a rebellion broke out in the city. Instead of counterinsurgency, Zhao Mingcheng chickened out. Li Qingzhao is ashamed of her country and her husband. When she passed the Wujiang River, she felt the tragic feelings of Xiang Yu and wrote "Summer quatrains". At the same time, she also alluded to the Southern Song Dynasty and her husband.
