"Dou Li" is an emotional work by Wang Yizhen. It is included in the selected reading text for the fifth grade in the People's Education Press. The poem "Dou Li" is not long, only five stanzas and twenty lines. Its content is not complicated. It tells that when her son left his hometown, his mother did not have any good gifts to give him, but only asked her son to put on a bamboo hat. Then, starting from the bamboo hat, it integrates the sentiment of hometown and maternal love, writes the lofty and great mind of a mother, and shows the lofty ideological realm of a mother.

In the first section, it is written that the child wearing a bamboo hat is a mushroom in his hometown. This section begins with the kind word "child", which opens the author's emotional floodgates, and then uses an imperative sentence "Put on this hat" to express the mother's sincere love. Why should you give your child a bamboo hat? This starts with the image of the bamboo hat. The bamboo hat is a tool used to protect people from the sun and rain in rural areas. It has a strong hometown flavor and is the best carrier to express feelings about hometown. Wearing a bamboo hat means wearing your hometown. From the image of bamboo hats, the author derived another image, that is, mushrooms. Comparing children to mushrooms not only has a physical metaphor, but also an emotional metaphor. Just imagine, a child wearing a bamboo hat looks like a mushroom from a distance, but the author's deeper intention is not like this. "Mushrooms" are a product of my hometown, a food that is very dear to my mother, and also a carrier of my mother's emotions. As long as a mother sees mushrooms, she will think of her children, or she can use mushrooms to relieve her longing for her children. In these two senses, there is no better carrier than "mushroom". In addition, the "steady figure" in this section is the mother's ardent expectation for her child. She hopes that her child will be an upright person outside. Because as long as a child wears a bamboo hat, he will never forget his hometown and the simple and upright character of the people in his hometown.

In the second section, the bamboo hat is woven into the song of birds, which is the sound from hometown. The image of "birdsong" is worth pondering. "Birdsong" actually refers to the mother's instructions and exhortations to her children. So why did the author choose "birdsong" as a carrier? Because birds can fly freely and are not restricted by time and space, children can hear them anytime and anywhere. Moreover, the chirping of birds is beautiful in itself, so the mother said that it is the sound of hometown. This kind of sound will "slip" into a child's dream in a quiet night. The word "slippery" in the poem expresses the love contained in the mother's gentle instructions and instructions in a flexible and rounded way.

In the third section, it is written that Dou Jia is a hot land of hometown. In this section, the author compares the bamboo hat to the hot soil of his hometown, because the bamboo hat is made of bamboo, and bamboo is rooted in the hot soil of his hometown. Wearing the bamboo hat is equivalent to bringing the hot soil of his hometown close to his heart. What is worth pondering is the word "cai" in this section. "Warmth" is a feeling, it is intangible, while "picking" is an action of an entity, and its object should also be an entity. The sentence pattern of "picking up the warmth from my hometown" seems counterintuitive, but if you think about it carefully, it makes sense. Just imagine, the "warmth" of your hometown permeates the world because it is intangible. You can grab a handful and what you catch is the warmth of your hometown. You must "pick" it, because warmth is invisible. You can only "pick it" when you have hometown in your heart and act homesickly. This is the "abstract figurative" technique that Wang Yizhen is best at.

In the fourth section, write that the bamboo hat is a flower. The emergence of the image of "flower" is synonymous with hometown. The flowers carry the earthy fragrance of their hometown, a fragrant and mellow beauty of the countryside. The mother uses flowers to describe her hometown because she wants to tell her children: Hometown is the most beautiful. No matter what kind of downtown you go through or what dazzling things you see, nothing is as beautiful as your hometown. The fragrant earthy smell will always slap the child's window lattice and the wanderer's heart. By this section of the poem, the emotion has reached a very high level, because the mother's love has reached the heart of the wanderer.

In the fifth section, it is written that the bamboo hat is like a bright moon. The author uses "the moon" as a metaphor in this section, which is undoubtedly to show the theme to the readers. Because "the moon" has a strong cultural flavor, it is the carrier of Chinese people's homesickness. This can be seen in poems such as "The road is white tonight, and the moon is bright in my hometown.", "Look up at the bright moon, lower your head to miss your hometown.", "The bright moon should know me, and we will meet each other in a foreign land every year." and other poems. As a metaphor for the bamboo hat, the moon is a quenching thirst for the child's longing for his mother and hometown, and it is also the mother's hope for her child. The sentence "The tip of my mother's heart shines brightly" is why my mother compared the bamboo hat to the moon. And it is this lighting that becomes a "lamp" and becomes "an everlasting lamp." The carrier of "moon" is derived from "hat", and then the carrier of "lamp" is derived from "moon". The poem ends here.

What kind of emotional sustenance does "An Endless Lamp" have? Whether it is a lamp of mother’s yearning for her child, a lamp of hope, a lamp of child’s yearning for mother and hometown, or a guiding light on the child’s road to life, no matter what it is, this lamp is “endless”. . In this section of the poem, the emotion has reached its extreme, the theme is clearly visible, and it has become eternal.

Looking at Wang Yizhen's poem "Dou Li", I think it has the following characteristics:

1. The structure is neat and the rhythm is harmonious. The whole poem has five stanzas, each stanza has four lines and two sentences, and the first sentence of each stanza is the same. The first four sections are similar in structure, but the last section is slightly different. This may be deliberately set to highlight the theme. In addition, this poem has a harmonious rhyme, and each stanza is a rhyming couplet, making it catchy to read.

2. The idea is unique and the metaphor is novel. In order to express the plot of hometown and the theme of maternal love, the whole poem uses the bamboo hat as a carrier, and then derives a series of small carriers, such as mushrooms, birdsong, hot soil, flowers, moon, lamps, etc. These novel and rich local flavor Metaphors play a very good role in highlighting the theme.

3. Simple language and sincere emotions. The language of this poem is simple, but the simplicity contains the author's deep love for his hometown and the praise of his mother's great love. The true feelings flow throughout the poem, and the reader seems to be immersed in a mother's instructions and instructions to her child who is about to travel far away, and also in the midst of the child who is traveling far away murmuring his mother's parting instructions and instructions in his sleep.

In short, this poem is written with true feelings and is a natural expression of deep feelings. This is undoubtedly a guide for beginners who are learning to write poems. There is no doubt about this.
