"Collection of Qing Poems" is a collection of Chinese Qing Dynasty poetry. The original name is "Collection of Poems of the Imperial Dynasty", edited and selected by Shen Deqian. The original anthology consists of 36 volumes, with 996 people and 3952 poems selected. It was first selected in the 19th year of Qianlong (1754), completed in the 22nd year, first engraved in the 24th year, and revised again in the 25th year. The revised edition was engraved in the 26th year. In December of the same year, Emperor Qianlong ordered Nan Shufang to delete and reprint it into 32 volumes, excluding poems by Qian Qianyi, Wu Weiye, Gong Dingzi and others. There is "Examples" at the front of the book, a biography under the author's name, and comments after the poem. Generally, poems about funeral packages and poems about old people are not selected. The 36-volume version produced in the 25th year of Qianlong's reign is relatively complete. This anthology contains a few works that expose the internal contradictions of the ruling class, criticize the bad government in the late Ming Dynasty, and mourn the suffering of the people. There are relatively few works that expose the social contradictions of the Kang, Yong, and Qian dynasties. To a certain extent, this collection reflects the outlook of poetry from the early Qing Dynasty to Qianlong. There are 36 volumes photocopied by Zhonghua Book Company in the 25th year of Qianlong's reign in 1975.
