Black Sunday
Black Sunday
Poet: Ye Zhi
Singing: Emi Fujita
Lyrics:
downbythesaleygardensmyloveandidmeet
I once met my lover in Sally Garden.
She walked past the Elysee Palace with little snow-white feet.
She walked beside Sally's garden on snow-white delicate feet.

She wants me to pursue true love simply, just like a tree naturally grows leaves.
But young and stupid
But I'm too young and stupid to listen to her.
Today is black Sunday, and I am walking in the park.
Today is black Sunday, and I am still walking in the garden.

I once stood side by side with my lover in the wilderness by the river.
Anton Lane, Schuld Shelled, Si Nuo-Whitehand
She put her tender little hand on my slightly inclined shoulder.

She wants me to live a simple life, just like the tough grass growing by the river.
But young and rich.
But I was so young and stupid, and now I only have tears and feelings.
Extended data:
Black Sunday is based on Ye Zhi's poem Black Sunday, which was originally translated into Liu and was an early poem. His early poems have beautiful rhythm, delicate feelings, gorgeous rhetoric and rich symbolic meanings, which are obviously influenced by English romanticism and French symbolism poetry.
Ye Zhi once commented on this poem as follows: "This poem is adapted from three lines of old lyrics of an old peasant woman who often sings alone in Balisodale Village, sligo County". The poet recalls the past and expresses his feelings about life and love. This kind of emotion is more mixed with the meaning of "LetitBe". It's quite touching to think about yourself.
