English ballads of folk songs

English Banad originated in the late Middle Ages, namely 12 and 13 centuries, flourished in 14 and 15 centuries, and revived in 18 and 19 centuries. It is one of the oldest forms of poetry in Britain. It mainly includes two parts, English folk songs and Scottish folk songs.

Cat stevens is a representative figure of English folk rock. He was born in London on July 26th, 1947. His original name was Steven georgiou. When he became an international superstar, he converted to religion on 1979 and gave up his music career. In the mid-1960s, Stevens began to compose his own music while he was in hammersmith University, and became popular on 1966 with a song "I Love My Dog". From 65438 to 0968, Stevens contracted tuberculosis, which forced him to temporarily stop his music career. 1970, he returned to the music scene with the album "Mona Bone Yaken", which won unanimous praise, and also released a popular song "Lady D'Arbanville". Later, he went on to release the albums Tea in Thielemann (197 1), Numbers (1975), Izzo (1977) and Back to Earth.
