Longfellow's famous words, poems, quotations

Arrow and song

Henry wadsworth longfellow.

I shot an arrow into the air.

It fell to the ground.

I don't know where it is.

Because it flies too fast.

Eyes can't keep up with its flight.

I sang a song in the air.

It fell to the ground.

I don't know where it is.

Because whose eyesight is so sharp and strong?

Can keep up with the singing.

After a long time

I found this arrow in an oak tree.

Not broken

And that song.

from beginning to end

I also found the secret hidden in my friend's heart.

Original text:

Arrow and song

I shot an arrow into the air,

It fell to the ground, I don't know where it is;

Because it flies so fast.

Unable to follow its flight.

I sang a song in the air,

It fell to the ground, I don't know where it is;

Because who has such keen eyesight,

Can it fly with the song?

A long time later, in an oak tree.

I found the arrow, but it still hasn't broken;

This song, from beginning to end,

I found it in the heart of a friend again.
