Kangxi's poem "Death of Christ"

Appreciation of Emperor Kangxi's masterpiece Death of Christ

Kido is dead.

Ten frames of blood and a half flow are completed, and a hundred feet of grace flow from the west.

It's midnight and I have three chickens on my back.

Five thousand lashes and tears, six feet hanging two thieves.

It's terrible to be shocked by eight things, and it's amazing to cry out seven words.

In order to commemorate the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, Emperor Kangxi wrote a famous seven-character poem called Death of Christ, also known as Kangxi Cross Song. Although there are only eight sentences and 56 words in the Seven Laws, it vividly depicts the scene of Jesus from his arrest to his crucifixion. If you meditate on the scene of Christ's crucifixion while reading a poem, you will definitely remember it vividly and burst into tears.

This poem has a unique feature, that is, he skillfully runs through one two three four five six seven eight nine's 15.2 million figures and four kinds of weights and measures, so that people can see the deep love of Christ after reading this poem, which can not be described too much with the commonly used weights and measures and numbers in the world.

"Ten frames of blood converge into one stream": earth-shattering salvation was accomplished by the tragic crucifixion of Jesus Christ, the son of God. When Jesus shouldered the burden of all mankind in Gethsemane Garden, his sweat dripped like big drops of blood. When he was tried and whipped, he was covered in blood. When Roman soldiers crowned the savior with thorns, his forehead was punctured and his face was covered with blood. When he was crucified, his palms and soles were crucified and his feet were bleeding. The blood shed by Jesus Christ has become the source of blood and salvation. It is because of the blood of Jesus Christ that the requirements of the law are met and redemption is successful.

"Hundred Zhang En Flows from the West": Jesus was crucified in Jerusalem (located in the west of China) and became the source of salvation. From Jerusalem to every corner of the world, he came to the Chinese nation, the author, you and me through "parting".

After Jesus Christ was arrested from Gethsemane Garden, he was first taken to Annas' home, and the interrogation was fruitless. Then he was sent to the high priest's court in Caiaphas, where he was interrogated three times in a row, because Caiaphas, high priests, scribes and civil officials had long wanted to kill him, and he was convicted of perjury, because the Jewish synagogue had no right to kill him, and he was taken to Pilate to patrol until dawn. Pilate was not a good official. He refused to condemn Jesus because he could not find out what he had committed. In order to pass the buck, he sent Jesus to Herod. Before Herod the Baptist killed John, Jesus said nothing. Herod had no choice but to send him back to Pilate. Jesus went through seven interrogations in four government departments. This is the malice of these Jewish priests who want to kill Jesus. They insist on killing him and sending him everywhere. Every time, he was insulted and beaten. A group of crazy thugs surrounded the world's redeemer, insulting, mocking, blaspheming, and mixed with rude curses. His humble background and poor life were regarded as jokes of comments by ruthless bandits, and words of mutual abuse, meanness, teasing, insult and ridicule.

"The apprentice cheated twice." The more cruel pain that broke Jesus' heart and the heaviest blow to him came from the disciples' denial. When Jesus was arrested, all his disciples fled, but Peter cared about his master and went into the high priest's yard, pretending to be casually mixed with the crowd to keep warm. He was asked three times in a row whether he was with Jesus, but he denied it. The third time he swore to deny his master, the rooster crowed for the second time. At this time, Jesus looked at Peter and Jesus with a sad and caring face in the ridicule and insult of everyone.

In "Five Thousand Whips and Tears", Pilate wanted to release Jesus by whipping him and arousing Jewish sympathy. Jesus was stripped of all his clothes and mercilessly whipped. At that time, the whip of the Romans was that every pimp had some lead pills and bone spurs embedded in it. Once whipped, people are raw and bloody. That's how Jesus was whipped. The pain is terrible. But our Lord Jesus did not speak when he was in pain. Like a lamb, he is led to the slaughter place, and like a sheepshearer, he is silent. In the heart of the Lord Jesus, he is willing to pay this painful price and bear our sins. Because of his punishment, our peace and his whipping, we must be cured. Some of the flogging of the Lord Jesus was for you and me.

When Pilate brought Jesus, who was dizzy, haggard and bruised, to the public, these priests and officials showed no mercy, but they still let soldiers and thugs tease Jesus, dressed him in purple robes, crowned him with thorns, spat in his face, bowed down to him maliciously and shouted that he would be crucified. Therefore, the innocent savior was sentenced to death. After Jesus' body was crucified, it stood up. Jesus' body hung six feet above the ground, attracting attention. Two heinous robbers were crucified with Jesus. This was carefully planned and deliberately done by these evil people. In order to humiliate Jesus, he was placed between thieves and gangsters, alongside gangsters. One of the robbers crucified with him also reviled Jesus with evil words.

"Tragedy shocked all sides": All the unspeakable sufferings of Jesus Christ shocked the world and the heart of the Roman centurion. He admitted that Jesus was really the son of God. Just like the Lord Jesus: The Son of Man is exalted to attract all nations to return to the Lord.

"After seven words, all souls cry": On the cross, Jesus said seven words:

L, pray for those who nailed him: "Father! Forgive them! Because of what they did, they didn't know that "Jesus forgot his own". "

Pain, only think of the sins of those who persecute him, and the terrible retribution they will receive.

2. For the robber on the right: "I tell you the truth, you will be in paradise with me today" is the only comfort on the cross.

3. Give your mother to John: "Look at your mother" and "Women look at your son"

4. The cry of "My God, my God, why did you abandon me" caused by my isolation from my father in my heart was isolated because of my sin.

5. Physical pain: "I'm thirsty" because of punishment.

6。 Relying entirely on God: "Father, I commit my soul to your hands."

7. Redemption completed: "completed"

When Jesus Christ finished speaking, he hung his head on his chest and died. The great sacrifice of Jesus was earth-shattering. Just as the bright noon sun shone on the earth, the darkness thundered everywhere, and large rocks fell on the surrounding mountains. Many sleeping saints came out of the graves and entered the holy city. After the painful sacrifice of Jesus, the sacrifice of all beings in the sky was extremely sad and made people cry.

In his life, Jesus devoted all his love to human beings:

He is willing to condescend to be born in a manger for you.

He is willing to endure the pain of five thousand lashes and one inch of skin tearing for you.

He is willing to bear the burden of sin for you.

He is willing to die on the humiliating cross and bear the punishment of sin for you.

Today, he still holds high the hand of nail marks to plead for you.

He longs for the world to be filled with the love of the Lord, and he hopes that all people in the world can enjoy the love of the Lord. He wants everyone to repent, not to sink alone. He gave him generous grace in order to make people reconciled with God again. He will not break the crushed reed; He will not blow out the remaining lamps. As long as people have a little hope, he won't give up. He invited everyone today: anyone who works hard and bears a heavy burden can come to me and get it.

Now is the time to accept and save. Let's accept him, born in my heart, and accept this precious gift.
