What is the baptism of the Holy Spirit and fire?
In the Bible, the baptism of the Holy Spirit is mentioned seven times: Mt. III: 1 1, Mar. VI: 1: 7-8, Rd. III: 16, J.133, and Acts1. The significance of "washing with water" in expressing "repentance"; "Water washing" becomes the representative of "repentance"; "Washing is a symbol of leaving sin and returning to heaven. John the Baptist said, "I baptize you with water so that you may repent. But the one who comes after me is more powerful than me, and I am not worthy to carry his shoes. He will baptize you with the holy spirit and fire. (Section 1 1) ". When Jesus Christ was baptized, the sky opened and the Holy Spirit descended on him like a dove. God the Father said from heaven, "This is my beloved son, in whom I am pleased! "Because God the Father has already revealed to John the Baptist, when he saw that Jesus was baptized and that special miracle appeared, he said," I have seen it, which proves that this is the son of God "(about 1: 34). So Christ used the "infinite spirit" to prove that he was the son of God sent by the Father. Jesus was sent by the Holy Father to baptize people with the Holy Spirit and is the savior. " Behold, the Lamb of God takes away the sins of the world! "John washed a group of people with water, and Jesus washed the church and saints with spirit. In this way, we can see that the baptist who was baptized by the Holy Spirit was not the Holy Spirit, but Jesus Christ, who used the Holy Spirit to purify the baptized people. Jesus is a baptist, so "being baptized by the Holy Spirit" is not that I am baptized by the Holy Spirit, but that "Christ cleanses us and cleanses us by the Holy Spirit", which is called "being baptized by the Holy Spirit". This is the work of the Lord Jesus: 1. For those who truly repent and believe in the Lord, we should baptize them with the Holy Spirit, that is, we should immerse them in the Holy Spirit, so that they can gain the life of God and become the body of Christ-the church (1 Cor. 1. 12: 13; Acts 2 ~ 4). 2. For those Christians who refuse to repent and believe in the Lord and name, they should be baptized by fire, which is the judgment of fire (Rev. 2 15). If people refuse to repent and accept water immersion, they will be immersed in fire in the future; Those who are willing to repent and accept the water immersion will also accept the spiritual immersion today (1 Cor. 1. 12: 13). People who don't live in the spirit today will inevitably suffer from fire in the future (1 Cor. 1. 3 13).
