Xin Qiji's Early Experience
Xin Qiji was born in Shaoxing, Song Gaozong in May 10 (the third year of Xizong) 1 1 day (May 28th140). My ancestors were Taoist priests and later moved to Licheng, Jinan. As soon as it was born, the north fell into the hands of the Jin people. His grandfather Xinzan was "tired" after the Jingkang Revolution and the Song Dynasty's southward crossing, so he could not go south and became an official in the Jin Dynasty.
Nevertheless, Xinzan always hoped to have the opportunity to take up arms and fight to the death with the Jin people. He often takes Xin Qiji to "climb to the top and look far, pointing out the mountains and rivers." At the same time, Xin Qiji also "arrived in Yanshan with two officials to watch the war", constantly witnessing the humiliation and pain suffered by the Han people under the rule of the Jin people.
Xin Zan placed ardent expectations on Xin Qiji, and twice sent Xin Qiji to Jindu Yanjing to take the Jinshi exam, taking the opportunity to spy on the situation of Jin people in order to regain his vitality. All this made Xin Qiji set up his ambition to revive the Central Plains and serve the country in his youth, and cultivated Zhao Yan's chivalrous spirit. When Xin Qiji was a teenager, he also followed Liu Zhan (Song Shi Cai Bojian) with his servant, and was called "Xin Party".
