Ancient miscellaneous poems
Ancient miscellaneous poems are one of the genres of China's ancient poems. Ancient poems with irregular words are called "miscellaneous poems". The ancients mentioned miscellaneous words, and some called them "jagged words", such as Xie Zhen's Poem Four Styles; Many people call it "Yuefu long and short sentences", such as Li Dongyang's Poem of Lutang, Hu Yinglin's Poem of Yuefu and Ye Jiao Ran's Poem of Longxingtang.
Some of them are called "long and short sentences", such as Ye Jiao Ran's The First Collection of Poems in Longxingtang, Shen Deqian's poems, Zhu Tingzhen's poems in Xiao Yuan and Liu Xizai's poems. Others associate "long and short sentences" with "seven words", "seven ancient poems" and "songs", and regard long and short sentences as a kind of seven-word ancient poems, or call them songs without ancient names.
