Italian contemporary literature

Italian literature is an extremely important part of the whole world literature treasure house. Italian literature and art in the late Middle Ages and Renaissance are world-famous. "The Great Florence Poet" and "The Pioneer of Humanism Dante (1962- 132 1)" made Italian literature leap to the forefront of European literature at that time with their immortal poems and divine comedy. Decameron, a collection of novels by Boccaccio (13 13- 1375), an outstanding representative of humanism, laid the foundation of Italian prose and had a far-reaching influence on realistic literature in western Europe. Peterak (1304- 1374), another outstanding representative of humanism, developed a poetic style, which had a great influence on lyric poetry in the European Renaissance. They have written an indelible glorious chapter for all mankind and become the common wealth of people of all countries. Following the appearance of the world-famous realistic comedian Gordoni (1707- 1793), around the unification movement, romantic and realistic literary thoughts sprang up like mushrooms after rain, and so did the great romantic poet Li Aupart Di (1798- 1837) and the great novelist Virga.
