Fifty years have passed, but love is short.
Obey time in this world.
She is very young; I use my eyes.
Close and open, kiss her wrinkles.
"Come on," said Death.
Choose her as his partner.
Dance the last song. And she,
She has accomplished everything in her life.
Elegant as a bird, open her ledger.
Because of tears, a sigh.
No heavier than feathers.

character introduction
He was rich in creation all his life, and won various poetry awards many times, including the Queen's Poetry Gold Award. His poetry creation can be roughly divided into two stages. Before 1970s, his poems were mainly about Welsh villagers and landscapes, history and culture, and their own experiences as priests. Since 1970s, the dialogue between the poet and the "invisible God" has explored the inner spiritual world of mankind, so he is also called the greatest religious poet of our time. His poetic style is as proud, rigorous, tenacious and unyielding as a human being, and he is unique in English poetry.
