Su Shi (January 8, 1037 - August 24, 1101), also known as Zizhan and Hezhong, was also known as "Dongpo Jushi" and "Su Dongpo" in the world. Han nationality, from Meizhou. He was a poet and lyricist of the Northern Song Dynasty and a litterateur of the Song Dynasty. He was one of the main representatives of the bold and unconstrained poets and one of the "Eight Great Masters of the Tang and Song Dynasties".
