The author of cicada

The author of Cicada is Yu Shinan.

Cicada is a five-character poem written by Li Shangyin, a poet in the Tang Dynasty. The first four sentences are written by grasping the characteristics of cicada singing, highlighting its experience and situation of "high hunger" and "noise aversion", and at the same time comparing the green and ruthlessness of the tree with the cicada's wailing all night. The last four sentences, from cicada to himself, think of his humble official position, vagrancy, rural desolation, poor family, full of emotion. This poem expresses ambition by chanting cicadas, and entrusts with the generosity of life experience, which not only describes the situation of incompetence and poverty, but also entrusts with his noble character. The whole poem uses the contrast between man and cicada, focusing on the similarities between them, changing the image characteristics of Qiu Chan's poems which are only bleak and lack of connotation, and endowing Qiu Chan with a brand-new image, which is a classic in the poems of chanting for the bosom.

cicada

A pure heart is hungry because of this, and you sing in vain all night?

Oh, this last broken breath, in the green indifferent trees! ?

Yes, I'm like a driftwood. I made my garden full of weeds?

I appreciate your advice and live a pure life like you?

You live in a high place, so it's hard to eat and wear warm clothes. Isn't it futile to complain about injustice?

The fifth is more scattered, as if to stop singing, and the tree is still green and ignores your troubles.

I am a small official and have to float in Sifangping. My hometown has been overgrown with weeds.

It's hard for you to remind me from time to time. As a warning to me, my whole family is as poor and noble as you.
