1. Five Rhymes is the abbreviation of five-character metrical poem, which belongs to one of the metrical poems in modern poetry. A metrical poem with more than eight sentences is called a long rhythm or an arrangement. An arrangement is generally five words, and the number of sentences is uncertain, but it must exceed eight sentences, and the number of sentences is even, such as ten, twenty, one hundred or more than two hundred sentences. According to the general habit, metrical poetry is the most exquisite language training. The ancients said that "the five laws are like forty bodhisattvas, and a vulgar man is not allowed."
2. The arrangement of rhyme feet is the same as that of general metrical poems, and the rules of leveling, antithesis and rhyme should be strictly observed, but it is not limited to four rhymes. Each poem has at least five rhymes and ten sentences, and the longest is fifty rhymes (100 sentences), even more than one hundred rhymes (200 sentences). Except for the first pair and the second pair, the couplets in the middle are all couplets; Every sentence should also follow the format of flat paste and flat paste. Due to too many restrictions, it is easy to appear rigid, and there have been few famous articles.
3. Five-character ancient poetry is a new poetic style formed in the Han and Wei Dynasties. It has no certain meter, unlimited length, flat and free rhyme, but the sentence pattern of five words per sentence is fixed. Because it is not only different from Yuefu songs in Han Dynasty, but also different from the nearly physical poems and quatrains in Tang Dynasty, it is called five-character ancient poems.
The couplet in the middle of this poem is not a strict antithesis, so it is more likely to be five ancient poems.
My humble opinion is for reference only.
