First, the creative background
The so-called "quasi-chanting" is the poem "chanting" written by Ruan Ji, a quasi-scholar. Like Ruan Ji, Yu Xin spent his later years in despair and desolation. He saw the irretrievable demise of the Liang Dynasty, cut off the hope of serving the country and washed away the shame. He longed for seclusion, but the compulsion of the Northern Dynasties and the philosophy of keeping himself sane forced him to endure official duties.
He hoped to get rid of the Confucian thought of "being happy in life" and the Taoist thought of "forgetting me", but to no avail. This makes him have a strong sense of despair and a desire to "imitate" and "chant" like Ruan Ji who struggled under the dark rule of Sima.
Under the high-pressure rule, Ruan's creative technique of "although he is determined to be ironic, his writing style is often evasive" also inspired Yu Xin, who is in an enemy country and can't speak freely. As a result, he wrote 27 famous poems.
Second, the appreciation of works
Geng Xin is good at capturing magnificent and desolate scenes to contrast the desert and desolation of northern detention centers-depressed fortresses, terrible dust, tall chengguan and rolling Yellow River, and a few thick lines draw an extremely magnificent picture.
It is in sharp contrast with the poet's lonely figure, which makes the silent desolation come to life. "Words are not full of meaning, suffering is not worrying", and the mood is subtle and deep. Du Fu once said in his evaluation: "The article is more mature, and the brushwork is vertical and horizontal", and he also said that "the life is the bleakest, and the poetry in the twilight stirs up the mountains and rivers", which is a kind of praise for Yu Xin's works, full of sadness and strength.
Yu Xin's Personal Profile and Achievements
1, Introduction
Yu Xin (513-581) was born in the Northern Zhou Dynasty. Nanyang Xinye (now Henan) people.
With intelligent qualifications, he accumulated high literary attainments in Liang in the heyday of literature in the Southern Dynasties and came to the north. He enriched the content of his creation with painful life experiences, and accepted some factors of northern culture to a certain extent, thus forming his own characteristics.
2. Achievements
In Yu Xin's early poems, there are seven existing poems, such as Spring, Duizhu and Dangzi, some of which are incomplete. These poems belong to the category of court literature, and their contents are nothing more than womanhood or lovesickness. They are short in length, gorgeous in language and pay attention to the beauty of syllables.
Although Yu Xin's later works are called "maturity", his early style has not been abandoned. His poems, which sang with the dignitaries of the Northern Dynasties, are still elegant and full of erotic elements.
In addition, there are twenty-five "painted screens", which are also exquisite. Poems with inscriptions and postscript were extremely rare before, so this group of poems has something to pay attention to in the development of theme.
