The first two couplets of the poem describe the surging and majestic scenes of the rising river. The waves seem to be floating the earth, and they are rolling over and over again as if they are trying to wrap up the sun. The Jindu on both sides of the river seems to be swept up into the sky by the river current.

The waves are overlapping and the sun is gone, and the two rivers are flowing horizontally for half a day.
The turtles and turtles ① angrily fight for new holes, and the gulls and herons fly away from their homeland in fright.
But ② being an official hinders your happiness, and you only feel that you owe a boat.
Note ① Turtle: turtle and alligator. ②Can: How can it be.
