Tai Chang cited Jiankang's Mid-Autumn Night as a tribute to Lv Shuqian
Author Xin Qiji's Song Dynasty
Original text
A round of autumn shadows turned to golden waves. The flying mirror is re-ground. Ask Heng E about the wine. Being white-haired and deceiving others.
it's easy to go by the wind, and look down at the mountains and rivers in Wan Li. Go to Guangxi and dance. Humanity is that there is more light.
Translation
A slowly moving autumn moon sprinkled Wan Li Jinbo, just like the newly polished bronze mirror flying up the sky again. I raised my glass and asked Chang 'e in Na Yue that her white hair was growing, as if she were deliberately bullying me. I want to fly into the sky of Wan Li by the wind and overlook the great mountains and rivers of the motherland. It is also necessary to cut off the swaying branches of laurel in the moon. People say that this will make the moon shed more brilliance on earth.
Note
(1) Too often cited: the name of the tablet.
(2) Lv Shuqian: a famous Qiu, whose life story is unknown, seems to be a friend of the author.
(3) Jin Bo: describes the moonlight floating, because it also refers to moonlight. Book of Han, Volume 22, Records of Rites and Music: "Moon Mu Mu Jin Bo". Yan Shigu's note: "If the moonlight is silent, the waves of gold will flow.". Su Shi's poem "Song of the Cave Fairy" says: "The golden wave is light, and the jade rope turns low".
(4) flying mirror: the mirror of flying, referring to the moon. Gan Zibu's "Light Fu": "The milky way waves, the gold is clear, the lonely circle is on the soul, and the flying mirror is lumen." Li Bai's "Drinking asking for the moon": "As bright as a flying mirror near the Danque, the green smoke is extinguished."
(5) Heng E: Chang 'e, the legendary fairy in the moon. "Huai Nan Zi Lan Ming Xun": "Yi invited the immortal medicine to the Queen Mother of the West, and Heng E stole it to go to the moon". Gao Youzhu said that she later "won the fairy and ran into the middle of the month to be the essence of the moon."
[6] What can I do if I am deceived by white hair? I should use the poetry of "Youth carries me on my back, white hair deceives others, so I am born" in Xue Neng's Spring.
⑺ "Go away" three sentences: Apply the meaning of "While the moon is in the middle of the moon, there should be more clear light" in Du Fu's poem "One hundred and fifty nights to the moon". Hey: chop. Gui: Gui Shu. Dancing: The way the shadows of trees sway. "Youyang Miscellany" contains: "The laurel is 5 feet high, and there is a person who often squats it, and the tree is created and merged. The surname is Wu, Ming Gang, Xihe, and he has learned from immortals and ordered to cut down trees."
Creation background
According to the title of the poem, this poem was written as a gift to a friend on the mid-autumn night in the first year of Chunxi in Song Xiaozong (1174). At that time, Xin Qiji was appointed as the Senate officer of Jiangdong appeasement department, and Jiankang was now Nanjing, Jiangsu Province. At this time, the author has returned to the south for twelve years. In the past 12 years, in order to recover the Central Plains, the author has written many times, but his argument against gold has not been adopted. Therefore, I can only express my wishes with poetry.
Appreciation of Ancient Poetry
Appreciation of the first film of the word
, the poet skillfully used myths and legends to form a surreal artistic realm, in order to pin his ideals and feelings. "A round of autumn shadows turn to jinbo. The flying mirror is re-ground. Ask Heng E about the wine: How can you be deceived by white hair? " On the night of Mid-Autumn Festival, the author expressed his feelings for the moon, and naturally thought of the myths and legends related to the moon: Chang 'e, who flew into the moon palace after taking the immortal medicine, and the osmanthus tree that was 5 feet high in the middle of the month. The poet used these two myths and legends about the moon to express the contradiction between his political ideal and the gloomy political reality. Xin Qiji took it as his duty to restore the Central Plains all his life, but the cruel reality prevented his ideal from being realized. Thinking that there is no achievement and there are many white hairs, how can the author not face the bright moonlight, and generate asks: "What can I do if I am deceived by white hairs?" This sentence effectively shows the inner contradiction of the hero's talent.
In the next film of the word, the author uses the wings of imagination to go straight into the moon palace, and fantasizes about cutting off the laurel trees that cover the moonlight. Imagination is more bizarre and far away from the world, but it directly and strongly expresses the poet's realistic ideal and strong will to realize it, and more clearly reveals the theme of the word.
The "dancing laurel" that the author mentioned here actually refers to the dancing laurel shadow that brought darkness to the people. It includes not only the capitulation forces inside and outside the Southern Song Dynasty imperial court, but also the forces of the Jin people. Because Xin Qiji, who returned to the south from the north under the rule of the Jin people, could not miss the people in his hometown who were ruled and oppressed by the Jin people deeply. Furthermore, the word can be idealized as a broader symbolic meaning, that is, sweeping away darkness and bringing light to the world. This great significance was realized by the images created by the poets by using mythical materials and by imagination and logical inference.
Appreciation II
This little poem expressing feelings in the Mid-Autumn Festival was written in the first year of Chunxi, Zhao Yue [shèn], Song Xiaozong (1174), when the author was a senator of Jiangdong Pacification Department in Jiankang (now Nanjing). At that time, the court of the Southern Song Dynasty had no determination to recover the Central Plains at all, but instead made peace with the humiliation of the Jin people, repelling and cracking down on the patriots who resisted Jin. In this regard, the author is very sad. When he was drinking with his friend Lu Shuqian and enjoying the moon on the night of Mid-Autumn Festival, he wrote this word to express his feelings.
The first part of the word is a full moon, which rises from Ran Ran in the east. When it first rose, it was still hazy. When it slowly rose, it became brighter, and the golden wave was as bright as a polished bronze mirror. At this time, the poet and his friends raised their glasses to enjoy the moon, and suddenly went crazy and asked Chang 'e humorously, "What can I do if I am deceived by white hair?" It means that time flies so fast, as if it is deliberately deceiving others, which makes us gradually aging and grow a lot of white hair. What should we do? From the lack of the full moon, he thought that time had passed so quickly, but he had done nothing, and he couldn't help but feel ups and downs and was not calm. "Autumn shadow" refers to the moon that has just risen and is not too bright. "Flying mirror and grinding again": Ancient mirrors were made of copper, which made them brighter after grinding. Therefore, the author compares the moon to a polished flying mirror. "Heng [heng] e", that is, Chang 'e, is said to be a fairy in the moon palace.
The next film expresses the author's lofty aspirations. He wants to take advantage of the beautiful moonlit night and ride the wind to the sky in Wan Li, overlooking the mountains and rivers of the motherland. There is no doubt that this is a portrayal of his patriotic thought. "Straight down" means looking down all the time. Finally, it was written from heaven to earth. It is said that the tall laurel tree in the moon blocked a lot of moonlight. In order to make the moonlight illuminate the motherland more clearly, the author wrote in the last two sentences that it was said that the moon would be brighter if the swaying branches and leaves of osmanthus trees were cut off. This implies that only by removing the obstacles of the capitulators can we win the cause of resisting gold and recovering the Central Plains. Du Fu, a great poet in the Tang Dynasty, wrote in the poem "One Hundred and Fifty Days to the Moon": "Zhu [zhuó] is in the middle of the moon, and there should be more clear light." Here, Xin Qiji used the word "humanity is" to show that the predecessors had said this.
In this way, the author subtly and implicitly embodies the idea of eradicating capitulationists in the image, which makes this little word have strong artistic appeal.
introduction of Xin Qiji
