Appreciation of the original text and translation of Li Panlong's "Song of Songs to Send Yuan Mei"

Original text of "Song of Yuanmei" on the road:

The white feathers are as frosty as they come out of the city, and Hu Feng continues to connect Chang'an. The top of the city is covered by a western mountain moon, and many soldiers are waiting to see it. Yuanmei went outside the fortress in the frosty cold, holding a military document with a white feather in his hand.

The aliens on the northeastern border invaded the border, and the alarm smoke was lit one by one on the continuous beacon towers, all the way to the capital. When Yuan Mei was traveling, it was just dawn, and a cold moon hanging in the west hung diagonally above the city. After dawn, a fierce battle will break out on the front line again. The soldiers guarding the border had not yet taken off their clothes and saddles from their horses. They were anxiously waiting for the decision to come from the capital. Appreciation of "Song of the Fortress to Send Yuanmei"

"Song of the Fortress to Send Yuanmei" was written by the author to send his friend Wang Shizhen (characterized by Yuanmei) to the frontier fortress. The poetry has sonorous rhyme and powerful momentum, and is quite reminiscent of the frontier fortress poetry of the Tang Dynasty. Although the specific mission of Yuan Mei's trip is not explicitly stated in the poem, the atmosphere conveyed through the poem is enough to make people feel the important mission he shoulders.
