Joe's Green Pearl uses the allusions of Shi Chong and his favorite concubine Green Pearl in the Western Jin Dynasty. Shi Chong, a famous minister and rich man in the Western Jin Dynasty, built a villa in Jinguyuan (near Luoyang Railway Station today). Shi Chong has a favorite princess named Green Pearl, who is gorgeous and stunning. Sun Xiupa, the courtier of the DPRK, sent someone to ask for green beads, but Shi Chong angrily refused. Sun Xiu became angry from embarrassment and framed Shi Chong in front of Zhao Wanglun. Shi Chong was convicted and imprisoned. Before leaving, Lvzhu cried to Shi Chong: "May the effect die before you!" He committed suicide by jumping off a building. Joe's intention to write "Green Pearl" is obvious, and he also hopes that Yan Niang can follow the example of "Green Pearl". My mother was ashamed and resentful when she read poetry, and she died by throwing herself into a well to repay Joe Zhi Zhi.
The record of this matter in the Book of the Old Tang Dynasty is too brief, and it is recorded in detail in the Book of Governance in the Tang Dynasty: "Zhou (referring to Wu Zetian's change from Tang Dynasty to Zhou Dynasty) had a maid named Jasper, who was beautiful, good at singing and dancing, and quite literary. Joe likes her very much, and Wu of Wang Wei asked Jasper to teach her concubines to comb their hair. Today, the poor gentleman promised himself. At this time, it is gratifying. It is never difficult for you to live in a boudoir, and you often lend songs and dances to others. Passion is arrogance, and arrogance is cross-related. I can't bear to leave you, but it's no use covering up with lead powder. High-rise buildings last a hundred years, and a generation of beauty is a gentleman. Jasper sobbed and cried after reading it. After three days of hunger strike, she threw herself into the well. Wu salvaged Jasper's body and found this poem from his nepotism. He was furious and beheaded Joe Zhi Zhi on charges of Luo Zhi. "
The "Jasper" mentioned in The Ruling Room should be the same person as the "Niangniang" in The Book of Old Tang Dynasty.
Another person who kills people with poetry is Bai Juyi, a great poet in the Tang Dynasty. At that time, Xuzhou Shoushuai Zhang Cheng had a concubine named Guan. She was beautiful, talented and could write poems. In his mansion, Rizo specially built a small building for my concubine Guan, which is shaped like a swallow. Every spring, many swallows from the south live here, hence the name Yanzilou. After Rizo's death, most of his concubines were scattered, only about living in the Yanzilou. Ten years later, a man named Zhang visited Bai Juyi and told him a story about the swallow house and Guan. Bai Juyi wrote "Feeling Old Servants Shooting Prostitutes", and the poem said: "Gold does not hesitate to buy flying moths and eyebrows, which are as beautiful as four or five flowers, singing and dancing, and it is absolutely impossible with you."
After reading Bai Juyi's poems, Guan picked up his pen and sang in chorus: "Self-defense is empty. After spring, peony flowers will form, which is meaningless to others. I am also surprised that the spring platform will not follow."
After the poem was written, he was shut up in the swallow house, starved for ten days and died.
