Time flies like an arrow, and the sun and the moon fly by. In the blink of an eye, I have grown from a naive child to a fourth grade primary school student. Not only me, my hometown has also undergone tremendous changes.
With the economic development of our city, my hometown has become more and more beautiful. Among them, the biggest change is the democratic road. Minzhu Road is the central street of our city. In the past, this street was called Liqing Road. Due to the large number of people and vehicles, the road surface has become bumpy. Every rainy day, the streets are filled with water, cars drive by, and muddy water splashes. On a sunny day, when vehicles pass by, the dust is flying and your breath will choke your nose. The shops on both sides of the street are uneven, and the roofs are full of tattered tiles.
Now, with the government’s attention, Minzhu Road has been rebuilt into a modern pedestrian street. The ground of the street is paved with beautiful marble tiles, which are smooth and beautiful. In the middle of the street, at regular intervals, there are flower beds of different shapes. Various flowers and plants are planted in the flower beds. The most commonly planted flower beds are chrysanthemums. The chrysanthemums are as pink as clouds, as white as snow, and as yellow as Gold... is very beautiful, decorating the streets more beautifully. The shops on both sides of the street have uniformly decorated facades. The architectural styles are unique, antique and beautiful.
Whenever night falls, the magnolia lanterns on both sides of the street emit brilliant light, illuminating the street as if it were daytime. People gather here from all directions to go shopping and shopping. It is really lively.
The current Minzhu Road is the most beautiful and prosperous street in our city. I hope it will become more beautiful and prosperous tomorrow.
