English speech poems are long and short.

Some people say calmly that this is not an era suitable for the growth of poetry, although poetry was once regarded as the cradle of university campus. In Nanyue, Sun Yat-sen University held seven poetry invitational competitions of Nanyue University. Facing this sentimental attachment, we seem to be pious and will be slightly delighted. However, a feeling of "acting" arises spontaneously when collecting these award-winning poems, but we have to face the helplessness. If not all the cultures of the North and the South, then let's look at Peking University. The original poems are not optimistic. 1978- 1988: Selected Poems by Peking University Publishing House once excited us. However, we have to admit that poetry in general is more of an old poem that exaggerates nostalgia, while the works of talented student candidates are only a few cashboxes. This will not make us wonder: Is the collection of poems published on contemporary campus a prelude to the revival of contemporary poetry, or is it the last elegy on campus? Today, we may occasionally miss some of the deceased and be moved by the youthful enthusiasm of the same campus poet, but this is only an occasional "nostalgia", and we are more engaged in a kind of forgetting. In the era of commodity economy, the consciousness on campus that today is the "pure" sky has also become its victim. Those who hold the hearts of young poets have left, and the real things such as part-time job, learning computer memory, postgraduate entrance examination and going abroad are full of our minds. Social competition and the enhancement of rational consciousness inevitably make us realistic and secular, and even impulsive-love poems are no longer popular as an unknown part, and material and money dominate to a great extent. Think about how the title of "Campus Poet" won the admiration of eyeballs, but now, the campus poet's "wit" and "madness" are detached, and the noise here contains more ridicule than some praise. Perhaps, many of us once loved poetry so passionately, and even today they still cherish it in my heart, but they don't seem to write or read poetry, but they are well aware of resisting the popular word of modernity. Campus is not closed, and its connection with society has always existed. The same is true of poetry. From the revolutionary movement in the new century that began during the May 4th Movement to the obscure movement in the late 1970s, several major changes in poetry have not had a profound impact on campus Song. In the post-modernist poetry movement, post-modernist poets often show selective skills to highlight those things that are not favored, but refuse to believe in the comfort that elegance may bring, which is unacceptable among campus students who are still dreaming and dreaming. At the same time, in denying the aristocratic tendency and the public consciousness, the postmodern poets desecrated the cultural artistic conception of the common people, and were indifferent and disorderly to Jin Man, aiming at establishing the core or opposing any norms. Those college students with traditional education and social experience are undoubtedly shallow. Postmodernism's rejection of traditional romance and indifference to divinity naturally aroused the resentment and protest of traditional morality. If it is a difficult choice to turn from classical poetry to modern creation, then the post-modernism pursued by modernist creation is painful. The variable cost of this mountain is huge. More and more pilgrims gradually left this sacred territory and refused their intervention. The pioneers who guarded this territory alone built the words higher to attack the city, and the scenery inside could not be clearly seen outside. I have no intention to make a judgment. I can't tell whether this is a kind of loss, whether we betrayed poetry or whether poetry was abandoned. I just know clearly that poetry is gradually receding. "The breeze of the world was taken away. "A poem is a strange poem on campus, and it is wrong. For reference only! ! !

Some people calmly say that this is an era that is not suitable for the growth of poetry, even in the university campus that was once known as the cradle of poetry.

In southern Guangdong, Sun Yat-sen University has held the "Guangdong University Students' Poetry Invitational Tournament" for seven times. We seem to be slightly gratified by this touching piety and persistence. However, looking at these award-winning poems and songs, a feeling that "one generation is not as good as the next" arises spontaneously, which makes us have to face this helpless embarrassment.

If the cultural heritage of the south is not as profound as that of the north, then look at Peking University, which will always be the source of new poetry. This phenomenon is not optimistic. The publication of "1978—— 1988: Selected Poems of Peking University" really excited us for a while, but we have to admit the fact that, on the whole, this collection of poems is more about nostalgia for the glory of past poems, and there are only a handful of works selected by students in school. This inevitably makes us wonder: is the publication of this book a prelude to the revival of contemporary campus poetry, or is it the last elegy to pay tribute to contemporary campus poetry?

Today, we may occasionally miss some dead words and be moved by campus poets' enthusiasm for youth and their persistence in ideals, but this is only "occasionally" and more often we forget them. Today, with the pervasive consciousness of commodity economy, the campus used to be a "sky of pure literature", and those exciting youth poems will eventually become faded memories. Part-time job, studying computer, going abroad and so on are all real things in our minds. Fierce social competition and the enhancement of rational consciousness inevitably make us become realistic and secular, and even the motive force of poetry-love is no longer popular. Think about how many admiring eyes the title of "Campus Poet" once won. Now, the campus poet has become a hybrid of "gifted scholar" and "madman", which contains more ridicule than a little praise.

Perhaps, many of us loved poetry so much in those days, and even today we are still deeply concerned about it. Now they don't write or read poems, just to resist the modern popular but unintelligible words. Campus is not a closed paradise, and it has always been inextricably linked with society. The same is true of poetry. From the May 4th New Poetry Revolution, to the misty poetry movement in the late 1970s, and to today's post-new poetry tide, these major changes have had a profound impact on campus songs. Post-new poetry movement is deeply influenced by post-modernism. Postmodern poets tend to show their preference for non-selective techniques and are willing to highlight those unattractive things, refusing to believe in the comfort that elegant forms may bring, which is undoubtedly unacceptable to campus students who are still full of illusions and good expectations. At the same time, postmodern poets' denial of aristocratic tendencies, publicity of common people's consciousness, disregard and even blasphemy of culture, and immersion and disorder of artistic concepts are all aimed at opposing any intention of centering or establishing norms. These are undoubtedly out of place for college students who have received traditional education and little social experience. Postmodernism's rejection of traditional romantic catharsis and indifference to sacredness naturally aroused the resentment and protest of traditional morality. If it is a difficult choice to turn from classical poetry to modernist creation, then it is a painful change to turn from modernist creation to postmodern pursuit. The cost of this change is enormous. More and more pilgrims gradually leave this sacred territory and refuse their intervention. The pioneers who guarded this territory alone built the besieged city of words higher and higher, and outsiders could no longer see the scenery inside.

I have no intention to judge, and I can't tell whether this is a kind of loss, and I can't figure out whether we betrayed poetry or poetry abandoned us. I know clearly that poetry is gradually leaving us.

The wind took away the light of the world. A campus poet looked at an increasingly strange poem and wrote it painfully.
