"Nine Leaves Poetry School", also known as "China New Poetry School", refers to a group of young people with modernist poetry tendency who appeared in the 1940s. The name "Nine Leaves" comes from the Collection of Nine Leaves published by 198 1, which contains the poems of nine poets in the 1940s, including Mu Dan, Tang Qi, Zhen, Du Fu, Hang Youhe, Xin Di and Yuan Kejia.
Nine-leaf Poetry School is the most important modernist poetry school in the 1940s. Their poems are deeply rooted in the soil of reality, eulogizing the hard struggle of the people, cursing the perversion of reactionary rule, and striving to write the spirit of the times and the essence of social life. They combined the anger and struggle of the nation, pain and joy, darkness and light of the times, decay and sublimity in their poems, and made bold innovations in art, which not only inherited the skills of China's classical poetry, but also absorbed some expressive techniques of western modernist poetry, which was closer to expressing the complexity and fast pace of modern life.

Poetry/Xindi
The sail is up.
Sail towards the sunset.
Smooth and ancient
The sails kissed the dark water.
Like a black butterfly and a white butterfly.
The moon shines on the head.
Blue snake
With a silver pearl
Human language on the mast
The wind is blowing.
The sailor asked about the rain and the stars.
From day to night
From night to day
We can't get out of this circle.
The latter circle
The previous circle
eternal
And endless cycles
The vastness of life
Unloading and boundless smoke and water
