The full text of "Sleeping at Jiande" is: When my boat is sailing in the fog, the day is getting darker and the old memory begins. The vastness of the wilderness is deeper than trees, and the moon is very close to the moon. I parked my boat near a small continent, and it looked smoky. When the sun set, a trace of melancholy came to my mind. In this endless wilderness, the distant sky looks deeper than trees, and the clear river and the bright moon seem to love each other.
The whole poem takes "boating at dusk" as the background. Although the word "sorrow" is written in the second sentence, it does not describe the word "sorrow", but emphasizes the description of the scenery. This poem is written to stay overnight, then to add sorrow to the sunset, and finally to the low-altitude moon. What's more, the poet's inner sadness and loneliness are described as "the bright moon is accompanied by people".
Later generations have a lot of comments on this poem. For example, in the interpretation of Tang poetry, it is said: "The guest is worried about the scenery, so the couplet no longer talks about love, but thinks about it." Meaning: The poet's melancholy is born of scenery, so the second sentence does not describe emotion, but shows it from the scenery. It is also written in "Tang Poetry": "In the second half, the tourists who write about the scenery are worried about themselves, and the mouth is endless." Its meaning is the same as that in the interpretation of Tang poetry.
