Four of the most classic pastoral poems

Return to Garden Home Part III, Summer Village Miscellaneous Fun Part VII, Passing the Old People's Village, and Village Night.

1, "Return to the Garden Part III": Tao Yuanming planted beans at the foot of Nanshan, and the grass was covered with bean seedlings. Get up early in the morning to get rid of weeds, and come back with hoes in the moonlight at night. This poem depicts the poet planting beans at the foot of Nanshan Mountain. Although the grass grows more luxuriantly than bean sprouts, he still gets up early and is greedy for the dark, and he doesn't go home with a hoe until the evening. 2. Miscellaneous Seven in Summer Village: Fan Chengda goes out during the day and the children in the village are in charge. Although the children don't plow and weave, they also learn a kind of melon in the shade of mulberry trees. This poem describes the life scene in the countryside in summer. During the day, people work in the fields, but at night, they are busy making marijuana. Although children don't know how to farm and weave, they have learned to plant melons under mulberry trees. It shows the busyness and harmony of rural life.

3. Passing the old village: Meng Haoran, prepare chicken rice for me, old friend, you entertain me on your farm. Green Woods surround the village and green hills are located outside the city. This poem is about the poet being invited to visit the home of an old friend. Through the description of rural scenery, the poem creates a quiet and harmonious atmosphere, showing the poet's love for rural life and deep friendship for friends.

4, "Village Night": Bai Juyi frost grass to cut insects, Nancun northbound. Looking at Noda from the front door alone, the moon is in the sky and the flowers are like snow. This poem depicts the pastoral scenery of autumn night. On the frosty grass, insects are singing urgently, and there are no pedestrians in the south and north of the village. The poet went out alone and looked at the field, only to see buckwheat flowers as white as snow under the bright moon. This poem reveals a quiet and lonely atmosphere.
