Charlotte also published poems. Her other novels are Shirley (1849), villette (1853) and The Teacher (1857).
Emily Bronte
Emily bronte e (1818 ~1848) is a British woman writer. Charlotte Brontexq's sister, anne bronte's sister. Born in a poor pastor's family, I studied in a boarding school with poor living conditions. I went to Belgium with my sister to study French, German and French literature, and prepared to run my own school in the future, but I didn't get it. Emily is introverted, quiet and elegant, and loves to write poems since she was a child. From 65438 to 0846, the three sisters published a book of poems at their own expense. Wuthering Heights is her only novel, published in 1847 and 65438+ February. Three novels of the three sisters-Charlotte's Jane Eyre, Emily's Wuthering Heights and her sister Anne Agnes Gray were published in the same year. Besides Wuthering Heights, Emily also wrote 193 poems, which is regarded as a talented female writer in Britain.
Anne Bronte
Anne is the youngest girl in the Bronte family. She is gentle and quiet, introverted, and slightly less talented than her two sisters. She lived to be 29 years old. In the last ten years of her short life, being a depressed tutor took up a lot of time, but she still wrote two novels, Agnes Gray and the Tenant of Wilderfield House, which occupied a certain position in the history of English literature. Her novels, like herself, give people a sense of peace. The protagonists are pure in moral character and brave in pursuing independence and happiness, which is also a portrayal of Anne's heart. Anne's works are straightforward and clear, more like18th century works than Victorian writers. Anne studied with her sisters and took part in their literary games since childhood. She hungrily immersed herself in the dream kingdom and wrote many sad little hymns. She has beautiful light brown hair, lovely blue eyes with violet, fair skin and gentle appearance, and is deeply loved by menstruation. Like twin sisters, she and Emily are inseparable and close. They often keep diaries together, or walk in the wilderness, giving beautiful names to familiar places. Her voice is thin and sweet, and she likes soft harmony. She can play the piano and sing in her spare time, but this kind of pleasant pleasure is really rare in her life. Later, Anne and her sister Charlotte went to Miss Waller's school for a while, but not long after, she fell ill, had difficulty breathing, kept coughing, and gradually became weak. Thinking of her two older sisters who died of illness, Charlotte was worried and decided to take Anne back to Haworth. Back to her free and quiet home, Anne's illness gradually recovered. In order to make a living,1in April, 839, she went to the Black family in Murfield and worked as a governess in Mrs. Ingham's family. Later, she worked as a tutor at Edmund Robinson's home as a sophomore in Green. Her family education experience directly provided a lot of material for the novel Agnes Gray. Mr. Smith, the publisher, has a precious description of Anne: "She is gentle, quiet and quite restrained. She is not beautiful at all, but her appearance is very pleasing. Her attitude shows a strange desire to protect and support. She always maintains a sincere expression, which can win the sympathy of others. " Anne was sickly all her life, but under her weak appearance, she had a strong, brave and persistent heart.
