"Believe in the Future"
On September 24, 1969, the poet Guo Lusheng wrote "Believe in the Future".
Guo Lusheng, whose pen name is Shizhi, was born in 1948 in a cadre family in Beijing. The first person to create new poetry during the Cultural Revolution, he paved the way for modernist poetry.
His poems include "This is Beijing at 4:08", "Wine", "Just Forget Her", "Believe in the Future", "Destiny", etc.
Guo Lusheng's famous work is "Believe in the Future". It was like "lightning" and "enchantment", and quickly captured the hearts of the young people at that time.
