But Liu Yun of the Song Dynasty said no, this is not the most original version. Liu Yun compiled a book "Taiping Guang Ji", which quoted the story of Cao Pi forcing Cao Zhi to write poems in Shi Shuo Xin Yu, but the content was quite different.

This situation made Cao Zhi feel deeply, and he decided to write another song, the famous one:

The story of Cao Zhi's seven-step poem later influenced many people, and many literati in history imitated this bridge when they were young.
