High mountain and flowing water in Guzhen District
This song is popular in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, and it is a song of A Zheng, Zhejiang. It was originally a flute played by monks in Guandi Temple, Tonglu County, Zhejiang Province, and was later adapted into a Zheng song, which was introduced to Beijing in the 1930s and later interpreted and revised by Lou Shuhua. Music is divided into "high mountains" and "flowing water". The first half depicts the majestic momentum of the mountain with rich and beautiful timbre, while the second half shows different forms of running water, sometimes like a trickle, sometimes like a torrent, magnificent and vivid. There is a feeling of being there and hearing its voice.
