Poetry 305 has always been compiled into three parts: Wind, Elegance and Ode, among which Elegance is divided into Xiaoya and Elegance. Wind is mostly a folk song, Xiaoya is a feast song, Elegance is a hymn, and Ode is a sacrifice song. Wind → Xiaoya → Elegance → Ode is becoming more and more solemn, serious and magnificent in turn, that is, the humanistic spirit or sentimental temperament of poetry is gradually sublime and detached.

According to the popular view in academic circles, the titles of works in The Book of Songs were added by the author or editor when the book was written. The titles of works in The Book of Songs are mostly selected by the author or editor from the first sentence of the poem, with few exceptions.
