Rongchang pottery has a history of 800 years. Rongchang pottery has a profound cultural heritage. "Anfuchang is five miles long, with fine mud in rows" and "Before the mountain and behind the mine, the kiln burns pottery pots". These folk songs, which have been circulating since the Song and Qing Dynasties, vividly describe the scale of production and the grand occasion of sales of Rongchang pottery at that time. Therefore, Rongchang District, together with Jingdezhen in Jiangxi, Yixing in Jiangsu and Foshan in Guangdong, is called the Four Tao Dou. Rongchang Ceramics mainly produces daily-use ceramics, packaging ceramics, craft ceramics and garden building ceramics. Because Rongchang clay has strong viscosity and plasticity, and the fired container has the characteristics of no leakage and good preservation, it is known as "fine clay", so people give Rongchang clay the evaluation of "as thin as paper, as bright as a mirror and as pleasant as sound".
