Modern poetry about time passing by

Time flies,

took away my youth and frivolity,

took away my ignorance,

in exchange for Maturity and stability.

Time flies,

It takes away the memories of my childhood,

It takes away my childish laughter,

Change Comes knowledge and sorrow.

Time flies,

making parents grow older,

it makes us grow up.

I want to reach out and seize time,

I want my parents to never grow old.

But it slipped away from me deftly,

But it was more clever than my trap.

I want to catch up,

But I can’t catch up.

I can only watch with cold eyes,

There is nothing I can do.

The flowers bloom and fall in time,

The ups and downs,

make me feel uninterested in life.

Time has quickly overshadowed my youthful youth,

But it has taught me about life and responsibility.
