When was Wang Rui's Ode to China written?
Wang Rui's ode to China was written in 2009. The calligraphy work Ode to China was created to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the founding of People's Republic of China (PRC) in 2009. At that time, in order to welcome the 60th anniversary of the founding of China people and People's Republic of China (PRC), the Great Hall of the People was decorated with a new golden central hall as the highest hall in the country. In order to reflect the cultural characteristics of China, we specially invited famous contemporary domestic painters and painters to create seven paintings and calligraphy. The only huge calligraphy work with a length of 18m and a height of 3.72m was finally selected by Professor Zhang. Professor Zhang wrote in regular script, and it took two months to create this ode to China, which was forged into wrought iron calligraphy by Chu Jinxia, a master of Wuhu iron art, and hung in the central golden hall on August 29, 2009, which was fully affirmed by the party and state leaders.
