Over the past year, under the leadership of the nursing department and the director of the department, all aspects have been strict with themselves, taking the lead in doing well the work of the department, especially the nursing work, boldly managing, and conscientiously implementing the work system of the hospital and the department, ensuring the steady progress of the department work. Actively cooperate with the director to do a good job in medical coordination and guide everyone to do a good job in medical communication; Find and solve some frictions and contradictions in time, enhance the cohesion of the department, and make the Chinese medicine department a warm family; Let doctors and nurses work in a state of physical and mental pleasure, and also create a warm and harmonious hospitalization environment for patients.
Second, pay close attention to nursing business training
As a comprehensive department of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine, our department is faced with many miscellaneous diseases, many intractable diseases and weak nursing specialty. Correspondingly, among 12 nurses in Chinese medicine, only 1 graduated from the nursing college of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine, and the rest graduated from the nursing major of western medicine, and only learned the basic knowledge of Chinese medicine at school; With the continuous development of the training of "specialist nurses" in western medicine, the characteristics and advantages of specialist nurses are becoming more and more obvious. Traditional Chinese medicine nurses have no specific professional knowledge and development direction, which affects the enthusiasm of this group and the stability of the team to a certain extent, and also has a negative impact on the quality of nursing work in wards.
In view of this reality, I decided decisively: start from me and train all the staff. Through the combination of business lectures and business rounds, department directors and doctors participated in the training of common diseases in internal medicine, including respiration, circulation, digestion and nervous system, systematic training of basic knowledge and common skills of traditional Chinese medicine, and even training of conservative treatment and nursing knowledge of some general surgery and orthopedic diseases. After a year of systematic training, the assessment results show that nurses have a comprehensive understanding of the common diseases of the above systems, which not only improves their professional and technical level, but also greatly enhances their confidence in their own and departmental development. Since then, I have adopted the daily strengthening method, constantly combined with the existing cases in the ward to strengthen the trained knowledge, and finally built a nursing team with excellent skills and Chinese medicine characteristics.
Third, try cultural management and strive to make characteristics.
Years of experience as a head nurse have made me deeply realize that it is important for a team to standardize its behavior, but it is more important to change its thinking and sublimate its inner world, so that the external cause of "head nurse management" can play a role through the internal cause of "personal quality" of nurses. To this end, I have taken a series of measures: on the nurses' shift schedule, I will send them a life and workplace sentiment every week; Hold a small blackboard newspaper of "Angel Heart Talk"; Use the morning meeting to tell them some inspirational, philosophical and other short stories to arouse their thinking about life and career. In a subtle way, the humanistic quality of our Chinese medicine nurses has been greatly improved. Finally, a virtuous chain of "I use humanistic knowledge to change nurses-nurses manage themselves effectively-improve the quality of nursing work" was created. In recent years, not only the construction of TCM nursing culture is flourishing, but also all the work objectives are successfully completed. In the previous provincial and municipal inspections, our Chinese medicine department was famous for its charging standards, and every time we welcomed the charging inspection, we did not lose a point to the hospital. In the evaluation and inspection of professional ethics, Chinese medicine health education and nursing service have been affirmed and praised by participating experts.
Fourth, pay attention to service details and improve patient satisfaction.
For example, in terms of health education for patients, most departments rely solely on oral education by nurses, but through long-term observation, I found a drawback: nurses talk less, the content is incomplete, and they talk more, because time is limited, they can speak quickly and have no focus, so that patients can't remember at all. To this end, I made an outline of the content of admission education as the content of oral education for nurses, and input the details into the computer. After the general education, the nurses sent detailed information to the patients, which played a very good role. Similarly, there are "propaganda of nasal feeding knowledge", "retention method of sputum culture specimens" and "precautions for retention of urine culture specimens". This kind of oral and written publicity not only helps patients to master it, but also saves nurses a lot of time, so it is well received by everyone.
Five, continuous learning and summary, improve their own quality.
As the saying goes, it takes hard work to strike while the iron is hot. While doing a good job in nursing management in departments, we should persist in learning new knowledge, constantly sum up clinical nursing experience and improve our comprehensive quality. 20xx took the psychological counselor exam in May, hoping to get the third-level psychological counselor certificate in August. Over the past year, he has published 3 academic papers and 1 poem/kloc-0 in national and provincial magazines, and 2 papers in the journal of our college.
The emergency department is one of the most important windows in the hospital, which has the characteristics of urgency, busyness and miscellaneous, and the annual work of emergency nurses is summarized. Facing the first diagnosis and rescue of critical emergency patients, emergency patients often have unclear diagnosis, unclear condition and rapid changes. If it is not handled properly, it is easy to have medical disputes. However, patients and their families are prone to impatience, anxiety and fear. The emergency room is different from the ward. Medical staff have enough time to communicate with patients and their families, understand the needs of patients in time, and establish a good nurse-patient relationship.
In the emergency department, patients and their families have not yet established a good sense of trust in their brief contact with medical staff, and they are very sensitive to every nuance of medical staff. The speech and behavior of medical staff will have a great influence on patients' psychology. As a result, the treatment behavior of medical staff is not understood, leaving patients and their families with the illusion of "being ignored" and "being urgent and not urgent". Therefore, the more I feel that communication is the most easily overlooked and important thing in an emergency.
Nightingale said: Nursing needs not only exquisite skills, but also art. First, you must learn to observe, so that you can be good at discovering the existence of problems, including observing the patient's condition, psychology, needs and family members. For example, some patients' families are critical of nurses' behavior, but they don't fully understand patients' fluids. For such family members, we should patiently remind them where to call a nurse when changing fluids. At the same time, we should also patrol the ward on time to observe the progress of the liquid, so as to avoid conflicts with the patients' families to a great extent because the liquid was not replaced in time.
Second, learn to communicate. Mutual respect and trust between people is based on communication. For patients who come to the emergency department, we should actively ask and guide them enthusiastically. For example, we can help patients with mobility difficulties, or help them take them to the clinic with carts, measure their vital signs and give them to the nurses in the clinic; For patients who need and can go to the ward for treatment, the location of the ward can be pointed out in detail to prevent patients from "running wrong". For patients who have been ill for a long time but their condition is not critical, we can advise them to go to the outpatient clinic for medical treatment, and patiently and carefully inform them of the location and time of medical treatment, so as to facilitate patients' arrangements.
A smiling expression and a hand gesture can not solve the physical pain of patients, but can quickly shorten the distance between nurses and patients, effectively meet the psychological needs of patients who need care, thus facilitating our follow-up nursing work. Finally, through observation and communication, learn to judge, and have an accurate understanding and judgment of the patient's condition and needs, which is conducive to the rescue work of medical staff and buys time for patients. For example, trauma patients can know the location and severity of their injuries through observation and general inquiry, and seek medical treatment at the first time. Registration procedures can also be prepared.
The above is just a brief talk about my work in the emergency department, and there are still many things to learn. Of course, being a good emergency nurse is not enough. It also needs a solid theoretical foundation, rich rescue experience, quick response and quick action. This is a guarantee to stand the test in an emergency.
From April 20xx to now, I have been a trainee in xx Health Center for three months. Strive to be an excellent nursing staff.
The time of self-evaluation of nurses' work has passed in a hurry. In a blink of an eye, my four-month rotation in the Department of Cardiology is coming to an end. From a student to a real nurse, I was both scared and confused during this period. However, the great nursing career and the encouragement of teachers kept me going. Cardiology is the department where I really set foot in clinical work for the first time. In these four months, I have adapted to the ward environment and basic nursing operation of the undergraduate course, observed the rules and regulations of the department, respected teachers, United colleagues and cared for patients.
Through these four months of clinical work, under the leadership of the head nurse, under the careful guidance and patient teaching of the teaching teacher, we can correctly implement the doctor's orders and various nursing technical operating procedures and do a good job in basic nursing. Strictly implement aseptic operation and the system of three checks and seven pairs, do a good job of succession, and solve problems in time when found. I can integrate theory with practice in my work, ask the head nurse and the teaching teacher for advice in time if I don't understand the problems, and strive to improve my professional level. Treat patients with civility and courtesy, and behave affably. In addition to completing routine basic nursing, I basically master undergraduate professional knowledge and nursing work of common diseases and frequently-occurring diseases. I can make preparation and guidance before intervention, complete nursing and observation during and after operation, communicate with ward patients in time, understand patients' dynamic psychology in time, and do health education well. Although there will inevitably be some mistakes and inadequacies in my work, I will try my best to correct and improve myself more through the careful education of the leaders and the patient teaching of the teachers.
In life, I strive to develop good living habits, get along with teachers, study hard, attend various lectures in the hospital on time, keep records, strive to demand myself with a rigorous attitude towards life, constantly enrich my experience and strive to improve my comprehensive level. Through learning, I have a more comprehensive understanding and understanding of holistic nursing technology and ward management knowledge.
These four months of study laid the foundation for my future work and life. In the future work, I will study harder, improve my professional ability, and make my theoretical knowledge and operational skills by going up one flight of stairs, so as to better serve patients and strive to become an excellent nursing staff.
